It's even better than the Grindelwald spa. The breakfast is so fresh and organic, it feels healthy, and it's delicious! I want to come here every year with my family!

Staff was excellent, breakfast and dinner were fantastic, and the view was impeccable.

The room was very clean, and the breakfast was quite good. The only downside might be that it's not accessible by car; you need to park in Lauterbrunnen and take the train to Wengen. Those driving should consider this carefully.

The hotel has a fantastic location, one minute from the station. The swimming pool and wellness areas were relaxing and never crowded. the half board buffets were tasty and filling enough for our 4 hungry young people. The family room was huge with beautiful views.

Chef cook very attentive to ensure gluten-free dinner was made available and also some waiters made sure that there was gluten-free bread prepared (Thanks Tobias and Maria) ! The wellness area but pls also take care that the cold water tube is cold and the hot one is hot !

One of the best holiday resorts I've been to. Rooms are comfortable and the terrace gave beautiful views of the mountains. The pool alone was worth the trip. Breakfast was amazing. Staff was super friendly. Across the street from the train station. All makes for a perfect holiday.

Wengen is a very nice place to stay at the Jungfrau region. The hotel is next to the train station, easy to access. Our room had a great view towards the mountains. Enjoyed the spa and the restaurant.

Very interesting retro game machine in the room. The location is right next to the gondola. Very convenient. their ski rental partner Molitor provides good service for hotel guests. Ski room is easily accessible.

I don't recommend staying in Wengen. It gets dark very early, there's not much to do nearby, and it's inconvenient to get around. Lauterbrunnen and Interlaken at the foot of the mountain are much better. This hotel is quite new, the hygiene is acceptable, the breakfast is average, and the toilet is very small.

The Brown Bear Hotel is located not in Interlaken, but in Wengen, a charming village with a cosmopolitan atmosphere. If driving, you can only park in the parking lot below Lauterbrunnen train station. Go up to the 7th floor to buy your ticket and take the train to Wengen, which takes about 12 minutes. Absolutely worth the money! The hotel is right next to a cable car that takes you up the mountain, and the views from up there are breathtaking. You can even take another cable car down the other side of the mountain to get to Jungfraujoch. The hotel itself also offers incredibly beautiful scenery. It's a shame we only stayed one day due to our itinerary; I'd definitely come back if I have the chance

Breakfast at Sunday was poor, not enough employees. Dinner has few choices. No sauna rules, many people in dirty underwear, lot of noise.

Great mountain views! It only took us about 90 minutes to get to Jungfraujoch the next morning. The welcome drink was lovely, and the staff were all very warm and helpful. I had a quiet healing vacation. It is the hotel with the best view in Wengen and is conveniently located for sightseeing in Wengen. The breakfast is also delicious. You can see Jungfrau from the balcony room. A hotel I want to visit again when I go to Switzerland.

It was super close to railroad tracks but never heard a sound. The walk to/from train station is steep, partially gravel and you have to lift your suitcase over the greased cog tracks as you cross. There is a nice hike to Staubbach Falls but the falls were not very large due to it being fall. Workers were nice. Evidently there was a free breakfast but they didn’t share that until we were checking out...

Although the hotel is located on a slight steep uphill, they are more than happy to provide free taxi service from the train station. But otherwise, great location, great views. Comfortable stay in clean room.

We unfortunately had limited visibility when we stayed at this hotel, but loved the vibe and comfort and cleanliness of the hotel and enjoyed the hospitality we received from the hotel staff. We’d definitely stay there again.

It seems the moment the restaurant staff figure out you are visiting USA they start demanding tips. Tipping is not customary and the Locals eating out detest Americans who are trying to tip. Please do not tip . The locals dining in hotels hate Americans who tip and who are trying to change the culture

This was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The mountain view from the balcony was extraordinary, the breakfast was great, it was super clean, convenient, and just all-around awesome. We traveled with a 4 year old, and they really accommodated her too. I’d love to come back someday.

The staff here is incredible accommodating. Super friendly and very willing to help. The soundproofing is terrible, the floors creak loudly, the breakfast selection is limited and runs out quickly, meaning you'll likely have to wait for the staff to bring out the next dish before you can eat...

The hotel is a historic hotel with a retro decor, so the facilities are quite worn and the floor makes noises when you walk on it. 🤣The hotel is located near the station and you need to find a big slope. It will be a bit difficult if you bring a big suitcase. 😂
