Adequate Stopover Good location for our overnight. Sadly right by a major road with no aircon so noisy or warm , your choice. Otherwise good.

We initially had a major issue with the hotel. Fortunately Maria & Toni were excellent and resolved the issue. I would come back here just because I know they have excellent staff.

We had a lovely one night stay here. The hotel is conveniently located a short walk from the train station, and it has a wonderful on-site restaurant.

Great hotel. Odd weekend procedures The hotel itself is great. Modern, clean, quiet. Reception is not staffed on Saturday, so you have to check in at the Park Hotel and that is where breakfast was on Sunday. It’s not far, but not convenient. It’s walkable from the train station. Good breakfast.

Excellent location especially in summer on a nice sunny day, few metres from lake and surrounded by restaurants. Efficient and no frills service but very consistent and reliable throughout all the years that i have been coming to this hotel. Very friendly staff, restaurant menu was limited during my last visit but food quality was good

Loved my stay at the Lowen hotel ticked all the boxes. The corner room was spacious with 4 big windows giving a reasonable view of the lake. The staff at reception were great. The location in the old town opposite the lake can't be beaten. Nice to find a family run hotel. My only grumble breakfast could be better especially the bakery quality and coffee. So hope next time I stay it will be improved...

Nice renovated Hotel in Zug very close to the lake and also the center. Staff is very friendly and the rooms are nice - some are facing lake of Zug. It is a smaller, nice and cozy place - not that cheap, rather on the higher end of pricing, but this you know before... All in all it was nice and it is recommended as there are also hardly any alternatives around.

Hotel Lowen is a beautiful traditional Swiss hotel situated in a spectacular location overlooking the lake. The hotel's staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel when staying in lovely Zug.

Actually the Loewe in Zug turns to be an institution. Located at a central place near the lake offer to the clients a unique experience, Swiss quality service, attention and value. The restaruant with a large menu, offers all types of dishes, we really enjoyed the service, that was garnet also to the success of the meetings held.

1 night ( May 2nd).. 3rd hotel in our week in Italy & Switzerland & the hotel I liked the most 😊👍.. A great location in relation to the lake.. Warm welcome, excellent room, that was as described😊.. As with the previous 2 hotels, the breakfast was yummaliscious. Zug is a great place to visit from the UK, i.e. it's an easy train ride from Zurich.. A return is definitely guaranteed..😊

This hotel is literally across the road from the train station, so it is extremely well located on that part. The room was an excellent size, and I had a double and a single in the one room with another small entrance/bathroom. The property is ok but could benefit from an upgrade. The staff were great although there were issues with the cooling system in our room. The one and only off putting thing is the amount of flies in the lobby especially around the food at breakfast. I struggled to eat much because of this

We only stayed for one night but enjoyed walking around the area and found great places nearby for dinner and breakfast.

From all Europe this was by far one of the most beautiful experiences we had at a hotel. The front desk lady was so accommodating with us that we were traveling with a 1 year old she thank God speak Spanish and gave us tips to get around the city and made our stay so Wonderful 😊

About a 30-minute drive to Lucerne city center — not very close, but acceptable. The price is only slightly cheaper than in Lucerne center. When visiting the Institut Montana, this is the go to hotel. They treat you like family and have a restaurant with the most delicious food open all the way until 10 PM. It’s a classic family run hotel and its mere minutes from the funicular to go up the mountain. Many thanks to Institut Montana for maintaining such a good relationship with this fine little hotel!

Just had a fantastic celebration of a friend who threw a private party here. Beautiful view and space with top service. Richard went above and beyond to make guests feel welcomed and attentive. Really the best service I’ve seen in my 10 years of living here.

Contras: Rooms are small, no air conditioning. If your room view is to the restaurant is super noisy. Rooms are small and extremely hot in this time of the year.
