Clean rooms, efficient check-in and very comfortable public spaces

This was a great place to stay. Spotless room, very helpful desk staff, and exceptional breakfast (included) in a lovely dining room. For those who have a car, parking is free. A small downside for those with arthritis in their hands: the soap is liquid in plastic bottles that are very difficult to squeeze. You might want to bring your own bar soap.

This was the best value hotel on this European trip. The location is easy to find, with a 10 Swiss franc parking lot. Not far from the train station, supermarkets, restaurants, and shops, there's also a cable car to the top of the mountain. While the check-in was fine, the reception otherwise felt somewhat distant and not so welcoming. Most information had to be asked for rather than being offered proactively. Apart from that, the hotel is fairly new, clean, with a nice ambiance and a quite good view.

The hotel is in a good location, with many attractions within easy walking distance. However, parking is limited, so we had to use the adjacent parking garage. Davos is a quiet and beautiful town. The rooms are spacious, the amenities are clean and hygienic, and the facilities are complete. The breakfast selection is extensive and the food is quite good.

Oh how the other half live... A brilliant hotel, huge rooms, but bed's not as comfortable as you might expect, close to the railway station so easy travel. Very helpful staff came in early to get our group breakfasted so we could start travelling early. Co-op and other shops nearby were very convenient, and for Switzerland reasonably priced.

Great place very convenient for the slopes, nice design and decor, the bar area in particular has a great feel to it. The only improvements would be to add coffee making facilities in the room (this is an option for which a supplement applies - quite atypical these days), put bathrobes in the room by default (something we had to ask for) and the same for conditioner in the bathroom. This Morosani Hotel in Davos is a little more upscale than the Posthotel, but in terms of service and comfort, both are just as good. The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious and modern. At the back, you have a wonderful view of the mountains, especially at night.

The room was not ready. We arrived at 5 pm and the staff had only just started preparing the room.

The hotel is excellent: wonderful breakfast, good spa, cozy and stylish rooms. Nearby is the railway station, you can get to the ski lift in another part of the city. It's a 10-minute walk to Lake Davos. I recommend it.

Nice hotel, not very luxerious, but everything what is needed to feel comfortable. Nice staff. Bar is closing very early. Only thing to seriously re-consider is the breakfast. One of the worst I ever had in a 4 stars hotel. There are never egg's avaialbe given the small station and the high amount of people. In addtion very little choice of fruits and bread (e.g. no Gipfeli).

We were strolling around Davos and stopped at the Skala restaurant. We had a delicious meal and received excellent service. We stayed four nights in this hotel and had a very good time. The owners and staff are particularly kind and available to fulfill customer requests. Spacious and comfortable rooms, equipped with a table and small refrigerator. Very good buffet breakfast with a lot of choice of foods. The rooms are very large, and I know there is a nice spa and pool area that I didn’t visit. I really liked the bar area, and the steakhouse, the breakfast was excellent and overall a very good deal for the price. But the best part of my stay was the friendliness and professionalism of the staff!

I would highly recommend the Wald Hotel in Davos. I have rarely come across such friendly and helpful staff at all Levels in a hotel, even the owner was helping to serve Dinner in the Restaurant.
