Perfect

A quiet location overlooking the Davos Valley, beautiful scenery. A nice, comfortable room with a balcony. Very good service and first-class food, including a rich breakfast buffet. We'll be happy to return. Monika and Walter Wendling

We had a wonderful week at this comfortable hotel. It's a very cozy family hotel. We were two adults and a two-year-old. Our children were very well received and gave us lots of little touches (crayon drawings, a gift in the room). We ate very well, and they were very attentive to our requests for gluten-free options: at every meal, I was generously brought excellent and varied gluten-free bread. The breakfast was excellent, with very good beer. The room and spa were very nice, clean, and relaxing. A few more degrees in the pool would have been perfect. The atmosphere in the hotel is very pleasant, the staff is very attentive, quickly responding to requests, and going out of their way. The manager is very friendly and attentive to customer needs. I recommend it.

I would highly recommend the Wald Hotel in Davos.
I have rarely come across such friendly and helpful staff at all Levels in a hotel, even the owner was helping to serve Dinner in the Restaurant.
There is a nice atmosphere in the bar and quite a nice wine list in the Restaurant at a good price point.

Waldhotel Davos

Beautiful hotel with a great view and an inviting wellness area. I stayed there at the end of September and felt very comfortable throughout my stay – it’s also an excellent choice for guests travelling with dogs. The half board option offered very good food, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, courteous, and attentive. The breakfast buffet was varied and of high quality.

In the dining room and the bar, the ceiling and lighting elements are faithful reproductions of those from the former Waldsanatorium, adding a special atmosphere. The hotel also preserves some of its history: old documents from the time of its founding are displayed in the corridor, and a small room has been authentically furnished and can be viewed through a glass panel. The bar is also a pleasant place to enjoy a cocktail after dinner.

Arrival by public transport was easy. The hotel transfer on arrival and departure worked perfectly; the dogs were, of course, allowed to travel with us in the passenger area. The staff also accommodated our wishes, and our luggage was taken to the station at the agreed time, allowing us to take a walk with the dogs down to Davos Platz.

I can fully recommend the Waldhotel Davos and would be happy to return.

We stayed here for a few nights to escape the summer heat and were very sorry to leave! The hotel room was super clean and had the most beautiful view from the balcony. The staff were all extremely kind and professional, especially as we had our dog with us - they made us all feel very welcome :-). The location was perfect for long walks in the mountains without ever needing to take the car. We will definitely be back!!

This hotel is superb. The whole hotel reeks of quality. care and attention to detail. Where to start.....the food in the restaurant is fantastic and not that expensive, considering the quality. The Wellness Centre is beautiful. I was in Davos to cycle and, after a day sweating it out on spectacular Alpine Passes the Wellness Centre was paradise! The breakfast is excellent, a buffet with everything you need, presented beautifully. The room - spacious, spotless, cosy. Slept much better than any log! We'll be back.
