Very disappointing experience. The staff, especially at the front desk, is rigid, inflexible, and gives the clear impression that guest satisfaction is not a priority. I have traveled to around fifty countries and stayed in hundreds of hotels, and I have never seen an extra person in a room being charged more than the room itself.

The overall attitude feels particularly out of place given that this hotel presents itself as a “fancy” or high-end property. In reality, the level of service simply isn’t there. Unlike other hotels of similar standing, there is no shuttle to the ski slopes, which is a basic service in a destination like Davos.

Another telling example: while heading out to ski, fully equipped and wearing ski boots, I realized I had forgotten my bus ticket in the room. Hotels in Davos usually provide these tickets. At the reception, I was first told that reprinting a ticket would take too long, and there was clear reluctance to help. In the end, it took about three seconds to print it.

Finally, the hotel advertises having a swimming pool, but only once you are on site do you find out that the pool is actually located in a different building. This is highly inconvenient and feels misleading for a hotel claiming to be upscale.

Overall, it felt like the staff was doing everything possible to irritate the guest rather than to assist. A very disappointing stay.

I unfortunately became very ill two days prior to my check in and out of an abundance of caution did not want to go to the hotel to affect any guests. Even with 48 hours notice the hotel refused to give me any degree of a discount or refund despite reaching out twice.

I'd like to respond to their response, it is factually incorrect. I proactively contacted them two days before with two back and forth emails where they said they would not refund me or take my condition into consideration. I held the room as a result of these emails 24 hours in advance as why should you make double profit on the room without giving me even a partial refund. Hope this helps.

An exceptional stay at Morosani Schweizerhof Davos! From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The rooms are beautifully appointed, impeccably clean, and wonderfully comfortable, with thoughtful details throughout. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Davos, yet still peaceful. Breakfast was outstanding with a great variety of fresh, high-quality options. The spa and wellness facilities were a real highlight after a day in the mountains. Every staff member went out of their way to make us feel cared for. We can’t wait to return!

Amazing stay with amazing staff, they really made us feel welcome. The breakfast buffet is great, the reception is incredibly friendly and the help we got getting to the station with the complimentary shuttle was really exceptional.

The Morosani Hotel in Davos is an excellent hotel in the heart of Davos. My husband and I traveled to Davos for a business trip and recently stayed at the Morosani in a suite. The hotel accommodations were very comfortable and decent sized for a European hotel offering. The room had a small living room area, 2 closets, a coffee station, a mini fridge, tea kettle, place to keep wet boots, a king size bed, bathroom with tub and walk in shower, an even a balcony with views of the mountains. The staff at the Morosani is exceptional. The girls at the front desk are super friendly, always giving warm greetings and helpful advice. The breakfast buffet has a large offering with Omelettes, fresh breads and pastries, and even a juice maker. The location of the Morosani is very conveniently located near ski lifts as well as all the shops in the town. You can walk to restaurants, cafes, ski shops and grocery stores within minutes. Also there is a ski rental shop located next door with access right from the lobby. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families, skiing, or business trips. We would definitely visit again while traveling to Davos.

The hotel (and conference centre) is very well run. Staff are very professional. Breakfast was at a „quite good for four star“ quality (standard for that hotel level, but by no means exceptional). The furnishings in the hallway were a bit worn and musty. The fitness centre was quite good. My room itself was quite spacious and the bathroom in perfect condition - all the fittings worked great and there was no mould, a sign it is looked after well. There was no airconditioning (which was a problem in the summer) and this would not have been an issue really, but with the window open at night fumes from some generator or something (not sure what, but it smelt like having a cars exhaust pipe in my room) came in through the window. Overall: if I were to come to Davos privately, I would try to find a different place. But it was ok for a work trip alone.

This Morosani Hotel in Davos is a little more upscale than the Posthotel, but in terms of service and comfort, both are just as good. The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious and modern. At the back, you have a wonderful view of the mountains, especially at night.

First impression the hotel looked great, the room was spacious and the balcony was as big as the room! Then my allergies were triggered when I walk into the room. I’ve been sneezing and had itchy eyes. My asthma got worse and I had to go to the hospital. The room looked clean but there’s definitely something causing my allergies in this room. Then in the last day we found out the room had white hairs that looked like dogs hair that kept getting on our clothes. When we asked the receptionist she said , that dogs are allowed in the hotel and that we should’ve told them to clean more throughly if we had allergy! I don’t think that I should have an allergic reaction for the room to be cleaned properly! It should be cleaned properly period even if I wasn’t allergic! The perks of the hotel is it had a great location for skiing. Ski rental store at the hotel close to ski lifts and bus and supermarkets.
