I highlight the reception and hotel staff , always helpful and assisting at any time and request! Breakfast lovely in wonderful surroundings, rooms are spacious and clean! The room was very large and new, and the hotel offers a free airport shuttle service (which is a great service for foreigners in Dushanbe where ride-hailing services are inconvenient). I highly recommend staying here.

In short, it was very good! It was less than ten minutes' drive from the airport, and everything was good! Next time I go to Tajikistan, I will definitely stay here again!

After arriving, there were four or five front desk staff to greet us. Some spoke English, some spoke Chinese (not very fluently), but they were all very warm and helpful

It felt like home! Drinks and snacks in the lobby were free to use, and there were plenty of large bottles of water in the room

When we asked to have breakfast prepared earlier, they flat-out refused. The indoor and outdoor pools were great, and the hotel staff spoke Chinese, which was nice. However, in room 407, the toilet lid was broken

The hotel environment is good and the service is also very good. The front desk can speak Chinese, which is very convenient for Chinese people to travel and live.

Almaz (Almos/Almos) hotel is a small "feel like home" hotel with big rooms. Idealy located on a quiet street in the central part of the city, only a few minutes away from Ayni Street (one of the main streets in Dushanbe)

The facilities at this hotel were way beyond my expectations - a nice courtyard for sitting, a sauna, a swimming pool, a gym and a billiards room! The staff were nice and helpful and there was a small, but nice breakfast with an interesting spread of local foods

The yard has seating and fountain for chilling. The basement is filled with all the amenities you could ask for, a pool, sauna, steam room, massage, pool table, table tennis

Almos hotel is good and the staff is also friendly. The guy whose name is Kabir is very nice and friendly person, he also know English language. The hotel has Swimming pool and gym too.

Look no further, this is the best option you can go for in Dushanbe. At this price level, you will not get something of this quality anywhere else. The hotel is newly built and styled as a grandois classic manor

The staff are very helpful, they know english and they helped me out a lot since english is a rarely spoken language in Dushanbe. The boss Kabeer even helped me get my card from the bank when the ATM ate it

The state-owned Tajikistan Hotel is state-owned in everything, including facilities and services. You understand. The location is very good, and the hotel breakfast is also very special and absolutely unforgettable.

There is a Chinese restaurant downstairs, which is very convenient. There is also a business service center on the second floor of the hotel that provides business services specifically for Chinese people

Hotel is situated close to the main attractions of Dushanbe. Taxi from airport to the hotel should not be more than 20 Somoni. Rooms are clean and wide enough but are little bit dark. Staff is friendly and helpful

There are some all issues however: the wifi is rather patchy, there is no ATM inside the hotel (one outside is not properly working most of the time), and our room was marked as non-smoker but distinctively had a smoke scent in it

The breakfast included in the room price is quite adequate: eggs, porridge with milk, pancakes, sandwiches, yogurt, fruits, and vegetables. The room, as advertised, has a refrigerator and TV

One downside is the water: there's both hot and cold water, but the pressure is very low. They also forgot to meet us upon arrival, even though we had arranged a transfer in advance

I would add that I am certain you can just show up during weekdays (weekends not so) as the huge building only seemed to have a hand full of guests during the week at peak season in February - they keep your passport at the frontdesk - there is a spa facility and rental was 450 (about 45 USD) I feel pretty expensive

it will take a couple good storms to cover the rocky mountain. The rooms are dated with stiff spring mattress but the blankets are nice and very clean. The wifi worked great for using the interpreter app

In summary, an ok Hotel, a unique experience and of course the only option in town. Pro: - they do take credit cards - there is one younger lady at the front desk who speaks some English - rooms are ok

Arrived between seasons and the skiing was not open but was able to ride the gondola and enjoy the great mountain setting. i imagine when the snow covers the mountain it would be fun to ski

Many of the amenities "promised" during the booking are missing. No balcony with tables and chairs, no gym, which was rumored to exist but was allegedly closed. The room was "luxurious" by Soviet-era standards

Their phone number is nowhere to be found, and the one on Booking. We spent two hours struggling to find the number for this hotel. Google lists it as "Vefa Apart Hotel. " The price-quality ratio is very poor

Initially, there were problems after booking. They listed themselves as "Bokhtar Hotel" on Booking. com, but on the spot, I couldn't find it online or on Google Maps

Cons: No bath mat for the bathroom and a ridiculous open shower so you can’t help but get the floor soaked. Towels aren’t that effective: too soft and velvety

Attracts quite the international gathering of cyclists & bikers, many with plans on the Pamir highway: a good melting pot. Old style house with plenty character, dorm quite comfy, socket & lamp by bed, WiFi pretty ok

Compare this with Manas, Kyrgyz, which is nearer the Qazaq border than Bishkek. Rustic location a few blocks in from ultra-modern Ayni Street, a corner shop just by; though a bit dark, seemed safe enough at night
