I highlight the reception and hotel staff , always helpful and assisting at any time and request! Breakfast lovely in wonderful surroundings, rooms are spacious and clean! Hotel is new and well built, didn’t have time to check other amenities as was on business but again thanks a lot to hotel reception and staff, I m sure they remember me :)))

The room was very large and new, and the hotel offers a free airport shuttle service (which is a great service for foreigners in Dushanbe where ride-hailing services are inconvenient). I highly recommend staying here.

They have a very well served buffet style dinner with a big variety of differents meals, deserts and drinks and last but not least is an affordable price

Contrary to what we had read, Maria and I thought that Hotel Firuz was a very good Hotel. It is about 5 k's outside of the city centre. Our Room was provided with air conditioning and all other necessities

After arriving, there were four or five front desk staff to greet us. Some spoke English, some spoke Chinese (not very fluently), but they were all very warm and helpful

It felt like home! Drinks and snacks in the lobby were free to use, and there were plenty of large bottles of water in the room

The state-owned Tajikistan Hotel is state-owned in everything, including facilities and services. You understand. The location is very good, and the hotel breakfast is also very special and absolutely unforgettable.

There is a Chinese restaurant downstairs, which is very convenient. There is also a business service center on the second floor of the hotel that provides business services specifically for Chinese people

Large rooms and comfirtable beds. Overall its a very good hotel for locals because only one staff member can speak english, expats can face extreme difficulty in conveying. Further, there is no gym, Sauna, Swimming pool

The best hotel ever good reception!

There was always hot water with good pressure and three towels and bathroom amenities were provided. My rate included breakfast which was simple, but charming enough

Rooms were not the cleanest, we found a cockroach on the rug. Towels were pretty rough. Breakfast was just two eggs and two sausages.

I booked via a notable online booking platform for 7 nights, which was lower in price than 6 nights (presumably a promotion?), and I booked with the intention of relaxing and concluding some administration having been travelling for several months

The room was light, with a view of the scenic courtyard. There was a desk, refrigerator, AC, a hairdryer, satellite television and wardrobe. The ensuite contained a corner bath, shower and bidet

I enjoyed the town, the proximity to the airport (where I arrived and departed from Dushanbe for £24 each way), and the peaceful nature of this hotel. For me everything was perfect

The hotel has a gym adjacent to reception, 24 hour staff, and though often very quiet, it is nonetheless professionally managed and everyone was delightful and well-mannered

The bathroom was ok – fairly nice towels with a good amount of towel bars/hooks and decent counter space for toiletries. The bed was hard as a rock, which didn’t lend itself to comfortable sleeping

We had both, sort of; the water pressure was abysmal, the water was tepid, not hot, and it ran out every night just as I was finishing my shower. Then my husband had to wait about 30 minutes for the water to return

The elevators were scary – made lots of noises that made us wonder if they were going to survive another night. No eggs, no bread other than sweet pastries, no yogurt, etc

And they didn’t keep things stocked so we had to wait almost 15 minutes for coffee cups. Staff was OK – nothing special, not overly friendly or helpful

They refused to give us an extra blanket, they took our slippers after the first night, wouldn’t allow us to buy a drink at the bar and charge it to our room – cash only

Hotel is situated close to the main attractions of Dushanbe. Taxi from airport to the hotel should not be more than 20 Somoni. Rooms are clean and wide enough but are little bit dark. Staff is friendly and helpful

There are some all issues however: the wifi is rather patchy, there is no ATM inside the hotel (one outside is not properly working most of the time), and our room was marked as non-smoker but distinctively had a smoke scent in it

When we asked to have breakfast prepared earlier, they flat-out refused. The indoor and outdoor pools were great, and the hotel staff spoke Chinese, which was nice. However, in room 407, the toilet lid was broken

The hotel environment is good and the service is also very good. The front desk can speak Chinese, which is very convenient for Chinese people to travel and live.

The breakfast included in the room price is quite adequate: eggs, porridge with milk, pancakes, sandwiches, yogurt, fruits, and vegetables. The room, as advertised, has a refrigerator and TV

One downside is the water: there's both hot and cold water, but the pressure is very low. They also forgot to meet us upon arrival, even though we had arranged a transfer in advance

I would add that I am certain you can just show up during weekdays (weekends not so) as the huge building only seemed to have a hand full of guests during the week at peak season in February - they keep your passport at the frontdesk - there is a spa facility and rental was 450 (about 45 USD) I feel pretty expensive

it will take a couple good storms to cover the rocky mountain. The rooms are dated with stiff spring mattress but the blankets are nice and very clean. The wifi worked great for using the interpreter app

In summary, an ok Hotel, a unique experience and of course the only option in town. Pro: - they do take credit cards - there is one younger lady at the front desk who speaks some English - rooms are ok

Arrived between seasons and the skiing was not open but was able to ride the gondola and enjoy the great mountain setting. i imagine when the snow covers the mountain it would be fun to ski
