We were recommended by friends who recently went and we are so glad they did. An amazing place! Such beautiful surroundings and so peaceful. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming, Fantastic value for money!

Absolutely amazing in every respect. The location a few steps from a beautiful unspoilt beach cannot be bettered. The banda accommodation is first class. The welcome from Ashok, Nalini , Happiness and all of the staff wonderful. Thank you all so much. We stayed for 6 nights and wish it could have been longer. Such an amazing relaxed atmosphere. Highlight has to be the amazing food. Everything, and I do mean everything is fresh . Wish we could have stayed longer to work our way through the whole menu !! If you are visiting the Tanga area do not miss out on Capricorn.

We had a very lovely stay at Capricorn. Everything you could need all in one place! Delicious food, lovely staff, beautiful and very clean cottage. The restaurant was such a treat! We felt so looked after and enjoyed every minute of our short stay. Thank you Ashok and team!

Capricorn is away from the fray, nestled by the Indian Ocean not far from Pangani. I spent 5 days in one of their homely cottages, beachcombing, eating great food . The owners were extremely welcoming and they manage to have a great balance of being inclusive and leaving you to enjoy the wonderful setting. A good breakfast is served on your own patio overlooking the beach. If you're looking for a place to chill after Safari or just to get away from it all Capricorn is the place. It's not 5* but who cares when you have great hosts, charming staff and excellent food. Hearing the gentle waves from my bed at night meant I slept like a baby.

Great food, wonderful beach front bungalows and family owned. Can’t emphasize the quality of the food enough. So friendly and they have a masseuse. Very reasonable. I have stayed there four times and have been delighted. Many home made from scratch items.

Ashok og Nalini var fantastiske- også resten av personalet. De tok oss godt imot, tok seg god tid til å prate med oss, og tok godt vare på oss gjennom hele oppholdet. Maten var også nydelig- alltid ferske råvarer. Det var aldri noe problem dersom vi hadde noen spørsmål eller ønsker- de fikset og ordnet med en gang. Fantastiske eiere som virkelig bryr seg om gjestene sine. Kommer gjerne tilbake❤️

We stayed just for 1 night, and it was a really nice stay! It was so nice to talk to Happiness and the owners! They are all very friendly and made our stay like feeling at home with friends. Thank you so much especially for the very good food!

Our family enjoyed the stay at Capricorn very much! Bungalows are simple, rustic style, VERY clean. Food - simply awesome! But the best thing in Capricorn is its team - personnel really tries to make you feel at home, to help, to ensure you enjoy your stay. Our warmest thanks to the owner Ashok and manager Happiness, they are fantastic! Capricorn is not a very touristy place - it's in a middle of wilder oceanic coast, so take this into consideration. There will be no shops, cafes (except for Capricorn's great restaurant), etc. But it is the great place to escape! Thank you, Ashok and the team!

Unfortunately I didn't stay here and regretted it immediately... I went for food and drinks 2 days in a row once I discovered it...The cocktails were amazing...food was even better! Pizza is fantastic, paneer was so good and the flavours to die for, prawn curry was so delicious. Think this is some of the best food I have had in Tanzania and I have been here for nearly 3 months! The owners are amazing, so friendly and welcoming, will definitely stay here if I come back, definitely regretted not coming here sooner!

Excellent, peaceful and very good service. Worth the trip and stay. Ask for Nalini's homemade sauces they are brilliant.
