Flame Tree Cottages in Nungwi

Amazing stay, had a great welcoming where the manager showed us all the facilities, that were very clean. Breakfast was served on the porch with the staff being highly tentative. The manager was very accommodating and help us book trip and made the stay excellent.

Flame Tree is a beautiful and authentic hotel, perfect for anyone who loves nature and quiet places. The garden feels like a tropical oasis, and the beach is just a few steps away with clean sand and a stunning ocean view. Rooms are clean, and the staff is very kind and friendly. No loud music, just calm atmosphere, birds, and the sound of the ocean. A perfect place to relax and enjoy Zanzibar.

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff was very friendly. Especially Agnes. What an energy. Situated close to the beach they had their own dhow. We took a trip with it to Mnemba and saw many dolphins and we did some nice snorkeling. It’s no guarantee to see the dolphins because we recommended the trip to other guests and they had bad luck with the dolphins only in deeper water. Hakuna Matata.

Nice vibe/style. Very nice people. Excellent breakfast. Good cocktails. And nice beach / dinner garden with breathtaking sunsets.

It was a great stay. March was not a busy period so the hotel was basically empty. Very clean place. They have a swimming pool. Service was great. This place is right at the oceanside. The owner has an old authentic boat. It's vclasdic! And you can hire it .

Flame Tree Cottage is a very nice family location. The service was great, we enjoyed the people, the food was OK. Rooms where beautiful en clean. Nice swimming pool and direct access to the beach. And very close the the little shops for souvenirs.

Had the best time staying on this lovely family run hotel. If you love small and traditional this is the place for you. The staff are so friendly, kind and will do anything for you. Big mention to our lovely friend Angus who we went to for everything! We stayed in Rosemary ideal as a family of four with 2 grown up children and the best view . Lovely beach front restaurant and sunbeds and great little pool. Having breakfast served to you everyday was fantastic. Town is really close, we loved walking along the beach each evening trying out new bars and restaurants too. Recommend the massage, sunset tour. My only small negative was Rosemary is above the kitchen so you can be quite noisy from early on.
