Disappointment. Full Stop.

Zanzibar is a great holiday location and the hotel could make your vacation extra special unfortunately it didn't.

If your are not Italian don't even bother to check in as everything is prepared with Italians in mind.
VeraClub simply got mixed up it's location making other Guests feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome.
couple TIPS
Watch your swimming gear as it gets green once in the pool.

Be ready to pay for a bottle of 💦 water in all inclusive option.
Squeeky beds, difficult to close bathroom doors, blocked shower.
Simple annoying things that Tourists don't like.

Next time I will wave 👋 from the distance.

We are tourists from Amsterdam staying at Imara Beach Resort (recommended). Our plan was to have drink at the Vera club but we were not welcome because we were black. They thought for some reason we were locals and apparently locals and black people are not welcome or don’t get the same respect as white people.

Awful place!

The staff are very unfriendly. We had a bad experience and do not recommend this as a holiday location.
