Arusha, Simeon Road 🧭 Map
One of the best properties to stay at in Arusha.
Clubber with free Steam and Sauna.
Wide variety of breakfast
We stayed at this place at the start and come back to stay at the end of our trip. The hotel is very clean. Service was great. Foods are delicious. There are 3 restaurants to choose from. Overall I’d recommend this place.
The mattress in the room was average, not as good as Atour. The buffet was the same every day. Not worth recommending.
Great hotel. Oasis on its own. Tried most restaurants, all are good. Gym and spa are great too. Worth spending time in the hotel itself, comparing to the city itself. Great hotel for recovery from Safari trips.
This should be the best hotel in Arusha. The hotel environment is very good and the service is also good, but the food and beverage are just average.
Good service and nice people. Really comfortable environment and great facilities.

This hotel used to be one of the most visited and loved by many. But during this crisis, they going through it has become empty.
Decent hotel! Location is great. Easily accessible. The doors are huge to enable easy passage of wheelchairs. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful always. There is a swimming pool area within the hotel. The reception area is beautifully designed with a lot of paintings and sculptures that are spread around the hotel. The accomodation is pocket friendly. #Letsguide
We stayed here for lunch! Was realy tasty! The waiter were very polite! I forgot my bag and they brought it to me, when I just entered my car. Very honest. Thank you!!! Good value for money!!
Good hotel with average rated services the best attraction is Indian Restaurant. Rooms are average but look old fashioned. 9am-9pm Spy and Massage by Lotus Spa. Big size swimming pool however u need courage to dive in as climate of arusha is just too cold even in summer.
Located at the centre of Arusha City. Impala is among the first choice for people travelling in Arusha and nearby regions which are heart of tourism industry in Tanzania East Africa.
You may ask yourself, Why this hotel?
Here are few things to mention that make Impala among the best in town.
1. Location (a little bit outside the town?
2. Convenient spaces
3. Diversions
*Bar,
*Restaurant,

It is a classic hotel that provide all necessary services. Has nice food, you change your cash also has massage service, conference facility etc

Trip of a lifetime with our family and another family we knew. However we met 5 other incredible families that will be friends for life! The experience was beyond incredible for our family. The memories made and impact will truly last forever and we couldn’t be more thrilled with ROAM and everything they do to help support families, women and children! Truly a blast and an incredible week packed with...
What a perfect way to end our 8- night safari! This place truly exceeded expectations, especially for families. The kids absolutely loved the splash pool and the fantastic play area, which kept them entertained throughout our stay. The food was exceptional, with plenty of options that catered wonderfully to children as well. A real highlight was the incredible Ayurvedic massage—so relaxing and rejuvenating...
Had a wonderful time with family. Also experienced foot massage which was relaxing and soothing to the feet. Very good service and the Easter buffet was delicious! Must visit place for a well spent day and for a 'me' time.
The rooms clean. The staff friendly helpful and always courteous. The food was always waiting for us when we returned for the day. The grounds were delightful and so pretty. I enjoyed sitting outside taking it all in. I wish I would have had children with me, they would have loved it here Thank you for everything.
I had a wonderful stay at Fun Retreat Resort and truly enjoyed every moment. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it easy to relax and feel at home. Good value, nice clean hotel, quiet location, not many food options around but the Wildebeest restaurant next door was good for a local (but good for westerners) food and cheap beers.
Good breakfast for Africa.
Would stay again.
Everything was superb. The room was clean and well organized, the location was close to the airport and the bed was good too. Everything about my stay was perfect. Upon arrival i was shown to my room which was fabulous, very spacious and adorable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with a variety of african and European meals. Absolutely would recommend.
The best experience i had in Arusha. I arrived at Kilimanjaro International Airport and the rest was an awesome experience from arrival to departure. Thanks to the hotel management for making the hotel more convenient for guests to experience the African culture. You won’t find a better place to stay at this price. Good rooms, staff and peaceful .
The Hotel ist OK to stay one night before a Safari. Rooms and beds very average, WiFi very bad. Price for food and Drinks fair
This resort was booked and included as part of my safari and day trips with Suricata Safaris. The resort itself is fairly large and includes a pool, lounge, bar, and restaurant with the usual amenities of WiFi, room service, small shop, and more. The rooms were in need of some refurbishment but everything was operational and clean. My room included bottled water, coffee and tea, a large comfortable...

Green Mountain has officially become my favourite hotel in Arusha. It has everything you could possibly want - beautiful swimming pool, fully equipped gym, delicious restaurant, fantastic service and great WiFi (which is hard to find in Arusha!) It would recommend to anyone looking for either long term or quick stop over. It is close enough to town that you can get a quick bajaji or taxi into town...
This is the third time I’ve stayed at the Green Mountain Hotel. The facilities are excellent, the rooms are very comfortable, and everything is always perfectly clean. The pool area is very relaxing and a great place to chill after a long day. The restaurant is also very good and works 24/7, which is extremely convenient if you arrive late or have an irregular schedule. But if there’s one thing I must...
Our stay was excellent. Great breakfast, excellent gym, comfortable rooms, kind employees. I will come back for sure.

We stayed only one night - but an amazing place. Irene was amazing helping us when an accident needed a hospital visit. Service is excellent. The grounds wonderful.
It is a villa cabin hotel with unique furniture and excellent service. Breakfast can be ordered on site. There is a small supermarket in front of the hotel and you can see Mount Meru in front of the door.
Very good, small and beautiful, very attentive service
I stayed in Arusha for two days on a business trip. I booked a place because it was close to the airport. But there was nothing nearby. There was a dirt road at the entrance. A meal at the hotel restaurant cost $20 (pictured). There were 7-8 power outages a day, and the internet went down with the power outage. I could only see Mount Meru from a distance.
Service was excellent! WiFi has been upgraded to provide different access for different areas of hotel and we always had availability. Food was very good and our waiter put fresh flowers and petals on our table for each evening he knew we would dine there. Chef made breakfast boxes and lunch boxes to go for our early morning departures. We were always greeted warmly, and our room was clean and comfortable...
The staff were willing to work with guests however they seems to be unaware of what guests needed. The food was OK and edible. The main issue with the hotel was the shower and bathroom. The shower was an accident waiting to happen. There was no ledge separating the shower from the rest of rhe bathroom and therefore all the water went all over the bathroom making it dangerous and slippery. Over all...

The hotel bedroom furnished is out of style. The bathroom is very small. The hotel is located right by the public market and bus station. It is very convenient walking around the city center, where there are so many businesses and banks. The staff was awesome and friendly. The restaurant has a nice view where you can enjoy your meal while looking out at the city view.
The hotel is located in the center of Arusha, opposite the bus station. The area is very busy, and traffic can be very congested during rush hour. However, it is in a lively part of the city, surrounded by various markets, shops, and artisans of all kinds. The food is decent, and overall a positive experience.
As it is near the Central Market and bus terminal, noise can be a concern in the morning.
The facilities are not good. The elevator stops. There are power outages. It's lively and noisy at night. The staff is friendly and nice. The room is not bad. There is no hair dryer or razor. There is no shampoo. The worst thing is that they say I haven't paid when I check out. They don't check even though I paid online by credit card. They ask me for proof, which is annoying.
We just stayed for one night before our safari started. The hotel itself was fine. Nothing fancy, but clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It also has a nice little restaurant. One thing to be aware of is that the surrounding area is very busy, with a market, bus station, and a mosque very close. So, there was quite a bit of city noise during our stay.
Spacious room with double bed, coffee table and two chairs. Basic bathroom with hot shower. Hotel is opposite bus station so room is very noisy. We ate breakfast on the balcony from where you can observe all the hustle and bustle of the bus station. Breakfast was good and waitress serving breakfast was friendly (unlike receptionist upon arrival). Porter helped to organise a taxi to the airport.

My flight got cancelled. Precision Air provided me with this hotel to stay overnight. This is an old hotel, but it is quite beautiful. It is located outside the city center of Arusha. They only provided two bath towels and no hand...
Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Life-Changing Safari Experience! My recent 4-day safari through Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro with Lush Expeditions was nothing short of magical! From the moment we left Arusha, everything was perfectly organized, making the trip stress-free and deeply enjoyable.
Very good welcome from Winnie and Rita a very good teamwork from the two. We loved the rooms which were very spacious. Very big compound and good gardens. The breakfast enough. A nice place to be with family. My daughter loved the place.at the time of our visit the pool was not functioning under repairs. Hope to visit next when it is working. Shukran
The rooms are spacious and clean. The gardens within the hotel area dramatically improve the aesthetics. The staff are friendly and experienced in running such a hotel. The meals are well prepared and tasty. Wi-Fi in all places in the hotel keeps one connected.
After reading the reviews, we decided to cancel our reservation. However, our host asked us to go take a look at it first. Upon arriving at the hotel, we found that the rooms were very nice. This room was very clean, had AC, and a refrigerator. It was a very nice place to stay. Food was good too. Staff were pleasant. The spout from the shower did not work very good, but the sprayer worked just fine so no issues showering. There was hot water as well. I would definitely stay again.

Great value. Nice clean hotel in good safe location. Dinner and breakfast available. They also coordinated a ride to and from the airport. Friendly staff.
Looks lovely, and the location is nice and quiet , the staff are really warm and welcoming, but, lodge itself needs allot of improvements for the price packages they offer. We booked nearly all the rooms, and many rooms had no running water, we had no card keys to the rooms, and since the doors are card locked, we had to share one key and you end up leaving your door open if you had to move around...
Very comfortable and clean rooms, quite and peaceful location that is close enough to town. WiFi is a bit poor, so maybe not the best place if trying to get some work done. Breakfast was okay, lunch/meals were fine at an average price.

From the moment we arrived the experience was exceptional. The property is amazing, the people are unbelievably kind, and display their passion through their work/service to the guest.
We had the pleasure of staying at the Arusha Serena Hotel for two nights. The room we had was quiet, well appointed, clean and comfortable. The walking trails that crisscrossed the grounds provided lovely views. The staff was incredible. Every need was met with a...
We arrived early and were delighted to be welcomed to our rooms upon arrival. A gardener/naturalist named Pray (sp?) provided a very informative walk though the beautiful landscaping, the kitchen gardens, and the edge of Lake Duluti, describing and explaining the flora and fauna (especially birds). Enjoyed the food at the restaurant and the rooms were very comfortable and quiet.
Pray is one of the gardeners at Arusha Serena Hotel in Tanzania, Africa. Pray lead us on an excellent tour of the grounds of the Arusha Serena Hotel. His knowledge is extensive of the plants, flowers, trees and wildlife of Tanzania. Pray had a desire to advance his career as a conservation specialist in Tanzania. He taught us so much about Tanzania.
We found this a perfect, beautiful place to enjoy our 4 days pre safari. The hotel is safe and friendly with exceptional employees. Bottom line up front: Ask to meet Praygod and go on a wonderful adventure around the property and adjacent lake. We had a lovely 3 day stay at the Arusha Lodge before beginning our trip. Its nice and friendly hotel
I love that
Ctrip rate is very competitive, otherwise it is TSH40k booking on site. Excellent downtown location, simple breakfast provided, good security, surrounded by local restaurants, local fresh market. There is no fan, quite warm at noon time, 16C at night. Internet is stable however insufficient to watch YouTube smart TV
The staff were very kind and welcoming, and it was wonderful! The welcome drink, breakfast, and service were all excellent. The room was worth the price. The toilet was a little small, but that's ok! The warmth and smiles of the staff were everything. The location was also convenient, with plenty of places to visit on foot! They also kindly stored my luggage after check-out. I'm very grateful.
I'm a Japanese woman traveling with a friend to Arusha and stayed here for two days. Arusha was very safe, and the people were very kind.

We stayed here before and after our safari. It is a wonderful place. Three rooms are great and the breakfast fantastic. Mwinyi was the perfect host - he was friendly, helpful and did all he could to make our stay as great as possible. He even taught us some Swahili! Highly recommended. Dinner tip - go to Mboga 7 around the corner, it has some really great, cheap local dishes.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. On the first night, we didn’t have a hot shower, which was a bit disappointing, but the water was lukewarm the next day.
The area gets quite noisy on Saturday nights, sometimes until late at night. It might not be ideal for a long stay, but it’s a great place for a short stay.

Njiro Climax is a lovely oasis in between safaris and daytrips. We absolutely loved our time there, enjoyed the swimming pool, the beautiful surrounding garden and the great service of the staff. Absolutely recommendable for a stay, wether long or short, in Arusha. Njiro staff, thanks again for our wonderful days with you!!
Staff was very good and efficient. Answered all questions, very helpful when needed. Jamal helped me with my phone charger and even offered for me to use his. Would definitely recommend this place.
Excellent location at edge of Arusha, away from the hustle, bustle and noise of the town, with spacious, lush gardens. Staff are very enthusiastic, helpful and quick to sort out any issues that may arise. Special thanks to Jamal and Eunice!
I recently stayed at a hotel in Arusha and had such a great experience. While the rooms were clean, nice and comfortable, with everything I needed. I especially loved the peaceful environment and the quite place where it’s makes me feel am at home with a beautiful view - the food was fresh and delicious, also they have a good morning breakfast.
Caroline and Johnson were outstanding hosts, ensuring we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The lodge was beautiful, with clean and spacious rooms. Good hotel. Rooms are ok. Breakfast needs work. Not as advertised. :(
This was an average hotel. The staff are friendly but the rooms are dated. It is in the center of town which is a good location but it's very noisy especially at the front of the hotel. I was woken up many times with motorcycles and loud noises. The breakfast was depressing. I ended up having 2 yogurts cause there was nothing edible. A fine place for a night but there are other options
New Safari Hotel is a very clean hotel in the city of Arusha for any guest, if you want to enjoy your trip, come and sleep. New Safari Hotel has a comfortable bed, hot water, internet and very good service, very comfortable beds and a generator.
The hotel staff was very friendly and service oriented. The hotel, while a bit dated, was clean and the included breakfast surprisingly varied and plentyful. A very well-priced, value for money option.
The staff were absolutely amazing, super helpful. The hotel had everything I wanted. Very grateful for the rest, after such a long trip.

It was a great experience staying here, challenge was the parking. Other than the front roadside parking, there's no other.
Its fantastic. Everyone must visit
Rooms are very small but relatively clean. Wifi works well. Don't think it is value for money though. This came as part of my Safari package. I've stayed in hostels in Tanzania that are of better value than this budget hotel. I had dinner at restaurant and the food is not bad. The breakfast is limited though.
Room was small but relatively clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating, there was a reasonable selection of drinks and the kitchen offered to stay open late to prepare me a meal (I had a late flight into Kilimanjaro), which I did not take them up on. Breakfast was good and staff were again responsive and friendly. Would stay again for a short visit.
