Had a lovely 4 day stay, post safari at Dan Stan and this is a fantastic place to stay. We wanted a place away from the bustle of Arusha and this meets requirements without being too far away from the town. Really good value for money and the food was excellent at the restaurant with great choice of local food and great for a vegetarian like me. Rooms were great, we had one with a view of Mount Meru. They have nice gardens and a games area, perfect place to relax. The staff were all so helpful and polite, I highly recommend!

My (adult) son and I visited for three days before our African Safari, and returned for two nights following the Safari. Every staff member was so helpful, friendly and kind. Accommodating our every need, arranging drivers and a one day, last minute visit to Arusha National Park before our big Safari started. Rooms are attractive and comfortable, with great views of Mt Meru. Location is just outside the busy Arusha city, setting in a lovely garden. A fire pit is lit in the evening to enjoy, the restaurant is very accommodating to special requests. Son is vegan and staff remembered his needs. A wonderful bargain for the price and service. We will be so happy to return in the future!

This is a very special place. It is a small scale lodge, Mainly for people who stay one or two nights as a stopover on their Safari. We stayed a whole week and had the time of our life. The rooms (small houses really) are large, comfortable and clean. They have a very authentic feeling. The reception and bar are open 24 seven You can basically get everything you want or need there, just ask. For us to main attraction was the food. The kitchen is much better than any restaurant I know of in Arusha ! The only real strange thing is the price, it’s not even half that of any other comparable large hotel in the region. Thank you Yann, Josepha And the whole team for an Unforgettable stay

Encore un lieu étonnant ! Et encore du personnel adorable (on a l'impression d'être attendus) ; des chambres immenses (ça vaut le coup d'y rester plus d'une nuit) Here's another amazing place! And again smiling personnel to give you the impression you're just expected; very large rooms invite you to stay more than one night. I highly recommend the place !

Really nice place. Very affordable. Quiet. Great view of mount Meru. The service is very friendly and kind. The food is also good. I would advise to order your food early cause the service can be quite slow.

The Dan Stam Hotel is an excellent place to stay. We arrived and stayed 1 day before leaving for safari. Very comfortable rooms, clean and well-kept, excellent fresh/homemade dinners, and delightful staff beyond our expectations with their kindness and hospitality especially Tumaini. It was a perfect place to stay and start the safari. I would highly recommend Dam Stan to anyone coming to the area.

The room is clean and quiet. Meals and breakfast are delicious. The staff is very kind and helpful. Beds are comfortable and the mattress is made of good quality. Besides, I think there is a good price/quality ratio.
