Nice location. The rooms were a bit old and the sunbeds also. There were only a few sunbeds that actually reclined, so most of them were a bit uncomfortable. The Christmas buffet was good and the breakfast too, but it was missing the bacon. The pool when we were there had a problem so the water was kind of green. This hotel is okay for a one-night stay, but the rooms are uncomfortable. The power constantly goes out, meaning you could be left without AC and water at night. The toilet tank wouldn't even fill up. Even though the hotel is right on the waterfront, you can't swim because there are so many boats directly in front of it.

For the price, this is a good hotel. It's obviously not new, just a few touches of paint, but overall, its cleanliness and superb location make up for any shortcomings. Sunset Kendwa was fantastic. The pasta, pizza, and chicken Caesar salad were all delicious, and the smoothie was super refreshing. They offer a day-use option at a great price, which you can use in the restaurant—totally worth it. The beach was gorgeous, and the place has a nice view and a relaxing vibe. The beach is stunning, I had such a lovely afternoon with my family. It was amazing. We played beach football, beach horse riding and ride on jet ski. Margarita pizza was delicious, really enjoyed our lunch. Stuff were helpful.I would highly recommend the place.

The hotel has a wonderful location, direct access to one of Zanzibar's best beaches, Kendwa! The white sand is up to 200 meters wide! The breakfast is simple but delicious!
