I stayed at this hotel while on a business trip with my boss and friends. The environment was absolutely gorgeous, and the buffet had a wide variety of dishes that tasted great. When we went, there were many tour groups, and people from all over the world were gathered there, making it very lively.

Very good seaside hotel, location not far from the city center

Everything's good, but the rooms look a bit on the economical side, though that's a matter of taste. The internet is a real problem; it's slow and barely available in most rooms.

Very nice private beach-terrace 

Everything was fine until we realized our room had another door leading to another room. This meant zero privacy and you can literally hear what’s happening in the next room.

I personally think that the area is very peaceful and mindful. Slay! However, compared to the price of stay per night; I could have got better accommodation options in Asia. The beach at Nungwi Dreams is peaceful and quite. Ideal for a perfect getaway. High standard of leaving which I could recommend any day any hour. The breakfast buffet wow it's the best that I have ever experienced in Zanzibar.

The Ocean view is amazing. You can walk on the Ocean during Low Tide. The private pool is awesome with ocean views. Dated property but clean and comfortable, great view and location

We stayed here in June 2025. The hotel is wonderful, the rooms are large and well-maintained. There are rooms in the garden next to the pool, and there are rooms with ocean views. The view from them is stunning. Breakfasts are ordinary, quite decent. From the restaurant there is a direct descent into the ocean. Beach towels are provided, changed if necessary.

Everything was great except for one person at reception who was not polite and didn’t communicate well. He seemed to have a bad attitude. Apart from that, the hotel is perfect — very clean and with a great location right in front of the sea! It’s a quiet and relaxing place. The location of this hotel is great. It is right on the beach front and the hotel offers sun beds for its guests. There are many, many bars and restaurants just a short walk away along the beach. I really enjoyed my stay at Baraka Beach Bungalows, very well located in the middle of Nungwi beach. The room is spacious, clean, and well furnished. I prefered Nungwi beach and made a reservation for the Canary hotel in Nungwi beach but without my permission they changed my hotel to the Canary hotel in Kendwa beach which is far away 15 minutes by car from Nungwi. I learnt it at 23:00 when I arrived to the hotel and I waited a taxi for 45 minutes at the lobby. Everyday ı went to the Nungwi by taxi and one day walked through the beach in 43 minutes...

The hotel's location is very central and there are several restaurants in the surrounding area.

Nice hotel, but receptionists refuse my request to check in early and i was seriously sick that day they keep me in lobby almost 3hrs no one care  My friend was reminded them about my condition but no any action from front desk

It's an amazing place!! The greenery, the homey-like feel and environment. So, serene!! Best place to rewind and relax. The service is friendly and nice. The hotel rooms are clean and reasonable (corresponding to the description). You can walk to the beach and the center of the village in 8-9 minutes, but the road is very dusty and broken.

We stayed here for more than 2 weeks, the hotel is located near the beach (3min walk) has a beautiful garden and nice pools. Although Nungwi beach is very crowded you can find your peace in the hotel. The rooms are very spacious and the bathroom is very neat. This hotel is quiet and lovely, with big rooms and kind staff, very close to the beach. The food was delicious, for dinner it's possible to have room service. We had some problems with wifi, but the staff was so kind to solve it immediately. We arrived at 4:30am and at first we were not satissfied with room on the first floor, so we got another room after breakfast. We would love to come back again...
