Where to stay in Khao Sok

Nature Place is ideally located for transport for trips, taxis, restaurants, bars and of course entry into the National Park and the elephant sanctuary. Everything was easy and the staff were really helpful and friendly.  There are limited amenities, however this is irrelevant when you are surrounded by the National Park and will be out adventuring all day. Amazing hotel, great location for us as we had a tour booked with chillax hostel opposite in the morning. However, a small thing was the wifi wasn’t great. overall a good stay.

It was clean but smelled of moth balls. The widow was blocked by a wall. Staff was helpful. Laundry facilities are easy to find. The massages are slightly more expensive than other places down the ***** but not by much. I don't know that I would go back to Khao Sok for a second visit but the bamboo rafting was fun.

Beautiful place to stay. The bungalows are clean and bed is very comfortable. Staff in the recepcion is friendly. Swimming pool for refreshing is also good. We really enjoyed the time we spent there.

The room was clean and the service was very nice. The only thing that bothered me a bit was the very low water pressure in the shower. But that was really the only issue. There was a beautiful view of the limestone mountains, and the location allowed us to reach everything on foot.

Wonderful experience, monkeys are everywhere so do be cautious. Lots of good options for food and breakfast, restaurant overlooking the river. We did the tubing activity down the river which was a fantastic fun experience and we saw monkeys in the trees, the guides took good care of us we were a large group!

I really enjoyed my 5-day stay in the wooden hut. There’s a clear stream flowing right in front, and being surrounded by nature made the whole experience incredibly relaxing. Surprisingly, I didn’t get a single mosquito bite the entire time. The resort is tucked away from the main road, about 2.7 km from town. I was cycling anyway, so the distance wasn’t an issue for me. We stayed here a night before pickup for a floating bungalow tour and it was pretty decent! The staff were very welcoming and friendly and they helped up with baggage going to our rooms. The resort is beautiful! I’ve enjoyed my stay very much, the staff is lovely as well. The bed was super soft (needed that after travelling in Thailand with only hard beds, haha). Looking forward to coming back!

Solo female traveller for 3 night / 4 day stay with the Tarzan Tour package. I stayed in one of the new octogon bungalows with the river view and it was absolutely lovely. Amazing time we had at Green Mountain View hostel ! The location, the food and especially the staff were incredible ! So kind and sweet, always ready to help you :) We had an issue with the laundry and the lady at the reception found a solution very quick ! Very professionnal ! We highly recommend this place :)

Very friendly and attentive staff. They picked us up in the evening at the bus station and offered to store our belongings during the tour organized with a company. The food was delicious. The little cabins for sleeping are charming and well equipped!

Staff is lovely Amazing shuttle service Yet the place ia surrounded by monocultures , not jungle No hot water and very basic materas . Making it expensive for the price paid for.. The most incredible place to stay in Khao Sok, couldn’t recommend it enough! The staff are incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful. There’s also delicious food at the restaurant with many options, which was super handy if you don’t want to head into town. It is a bit of a novelty to stay in a tree house, but we found our tree house to be very well suited to us. It had a proper toilet and shower, and electricity. If you want nature here it is. The staff was very friendly and the food was cheap and very good. The tours were well organized and very flexible. The room was basic but everything you need. Not a lot of water pressure and a couple of ants in the room but the fly net was a life saver. The only thing was more fans at breakfast, would keep fruit flies away better. Would come again!

Everything was super nice! Room clean and the whole area very nature like. Unfortunately little bit too much nature friendly because we had cockroaches and worms 🪱 in our small house. It ended up with us sleeping in the car, after finding 5th little friend around our bed. Breakfast was nice and just enough. If not the little guests I would be more than happy with this place.

Extreme experience. If you like to stay in the middle of the jungle with all plus and minus this hotel is good for you. Some houses are good some other are in bad conditions. Humidity, insects water coming and going. It's an experience.

Great budget hotel, rooms are very minimal, no kettle/tea making things but provides soap and toilet role which is only reason not a 5 star, but great for the price. It is run by a family many generations very caring and nice to talk too. Highly reccomend if wanting a budget/low maintenance place. Also avoid carrier bags the monkeys love them lol

Simple rooms and breakfast in a quiet part of the town. We liked the location, but felt that bedsheet could be cleaner. A good price for this level of accomodation + amenities is ~ 800 bath / night (2person), just a benchmark for you when making a decision.

Lady in a resort is very friendly, and very good cook, try her food, it’s delicious. Owner or one of his staff will pick you up or drop you off, when you needed,also he can set it up trips for you, very nice people

Lovely spacious bungalows in a jungle setting. Friendly monkeys made an appearance a couple of times which was really special. Rooms are basic but clean and the bed was super comfy.

Very basic, need to be cleaned more. Our bungalow had holes in the walls and bathroom was a bit dirty. From the other hand - close to the river, nice garden and good breakfast.

A beautiful place to stay! We would've happily stayed longer but we are cycle touring so had to move on. The hosts were lovely, cooked delicious food and were happy for us to store our bikes near the restaurant. We stayed in the tent but it was cosy and a fan was provided. Great place to stay in the middle of jungle. There is also a small restaurant located in the property. The owner is really friendly and always offered free ride to guests. Delicious breakfast as well. Since it is in jungle do not expect luxury stay but relaxing environment. Highly recommend.

Very friendly and helpful host. Food there is good, fresh and has good prices. The accommodations are nice if you don't mind some insects around you ;) A very special experience is the jungle barbecue they offer for 4+ people. The room was a bit smelly and have only 5 rooms with all foreigners. As Im Thai, Im considered this hotel as bungalow. Suitable for someone who would like to relax among natural. Next to river, but their gate and sign to make us notice their hotel are very tiny.

Spacious room with a patio by the river in the jungle. The stuff was perfect - helpful but not intrusive. Food was delicious. They also organise trips and transport with cheap prices. 10/10.

Very quiet place, perfect for relaxing, however is a bit far from restaurants and shops, about twenty minutes. Attentive staff.

Excellent getaway with tours by the river and free shuttle to Khao Sok village. Rooms are comfy, big soft bed, AC and rate is good. Hotel is not in Khao Sok village but there is free pickup shuttle in the evening. The owners are very helpful and accommodating Will definitely come back.
