Great budget hotel, rooms are very minimal, no kettle/tea making things but provides soap and toilet role which is only reason not a 5 star, but great for the price. It is run by a family many generations very caring and nice to talk too. Highly reccomend if wanting a budget/low maintenance place.

Also avoid carrier bags the monkeys love them lol

Rooms are horrible. The bathroom smells so bad and so does the room. wifi doesnt work..Overpriced and dirty .. I do not recommend to stay here.

Used Island Resort for one night before doing a tour. The rooms are very musty. The bedding was wet, and it had a lot of dead bugs in bed and around. We paid 16£ for this room. It's not worth half this price.

1 star for the kindness of the staff.
Very nice idea to create tree-houses in the middle of the jungle. But... rooms are old and dirty with enormous amount of dead bugs and very alived ants... cold water only. Almost everything broken. And bed sheets humid. Impossible to sleep in these conditions..

Simple rooms and breakfast in a quiet part of the town. We liked the location, but felt that bedsheet could be cleaner. A good price for this level of accomodation + amenities is ~ 800 bath / night (2person), just a benchmark for you when making a decision.

Lady in a resort is very friendly, and very good cook, try her food, it’s delicious. Owner or one of his staff will pick you up or drop you off, when you needed,also he can set it up trips for you, very nice people

Lovely spacious bungalows in a jungle setting. Friendly monkeys made an appearance a couple of times which was really special. Rooms are basic but clean and the bed was super comfy.

Very basic, need to be cleaned more. Our bungalow had holes in the walls and bathroom was a bit dirty.
From the other hand - close to the river, nice garden and good breakfast.

bit run down and super basic with hot water..was given a 4 beds room..
No AC but naturally cooling place...paid thb500 with si ple breakfast...very motherly lady working there...

Booked one night but didn't even stay for this. Totally understand that this is a jungle environment, but the room had piles of dead bugs on the floor and in the beds. The sheets were stained and mouldy also. We've noticed that there aren't any reviews within the last three years until very recently, and it felt like our room hadn't been touched in that time! We tried to find a staff member to help and either switch rooms or at least borrow a brush to clean ours, but couldn't find anyone, and no reply to our message either. We left and stayed somewhere else. Have never had to do this, and we're budget travellers, very much not fussy! Avoid.
