Khao Sok Top Hill Resort — Fantastic campsite in a stunning location.
Amazing manager and team — very kind and helpful. We rented a tent for a few days; it was clean, tidy, raised off the ground, and surprisingly bug-free. There’s a bar with drinks, snacks, and cannabis (food is a downside — Thai dishes were disappointing). Shared bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The campsite has benches, chairs, chill-out areas, a kids’ play space, and some sports equipment. You’ll often smell cannabis, and the place attracts lots of young, positive people. The main drawback is the distance from town — about a 30–40 minute walk. Scenic and unique place, highly recommended.

We had the most amazing time here. We stayed in both the bungalow and the tents, and both were brilliant, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed. The location is perfect for a relaxing and peaceful time outside of the busy town area.
The family who own the resort are incredibly kind and welcoming, and they truly go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. They are more than happy to arrange excursions and tours with pick-up from the resort, including trips to the floating bungalows and guides hikes, as well as scooter and motorbike hire.
The food also deserves a special mention - everything is cooked fresh to order and is incredible, so there’s really no need to go anywhere else. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

A beautiful place to stay! We would've happily stayed longer but we are cycle touring so had to move on. The hosts were lovely, cooked delicious food and were happy for us to store our bikes near the restaurant. We stayed in the tent but it was cosy and a fan was provided. We would definitely recommend to others.

This was the best accommodation on my trip through Thailand so far. The resort is run by a mother and daughter. Both take great and loving care of the guests. I accidentally let bees into my room twice and the daughter got rid of them for me like a real superhero. The food is great. The atmosphere couldn't be better. It's a bit more remote. Alternatively, you can sleep in a small room in the noisy village. Or you choose to wake up in front of a dreamlike mountain landscape and read your book in a lovingly decorated garden. Thank you very much!

The best place I’ve stayed in Thailand so far. The tent was just perfect, under a little bamboo hut, and waking up with the sounds of the jungle was a priceless experience.
The sunset from there is amazing, and so is the food. The owners are such kind and lovely people, always with a smile on their face.
I felt home as soon as I arrived there, and I was so sad to leave!!
There is a walk to get to the village, if you ask for the shortcut it’s really doable, and it’s a lovely walk.

Our tent was infested with ants on night 2. The resort is a long way up a dusty track from town. Taxis won't take you so, if you want to go into town in the evening, expect a 40 minute walk back in the dark. We booked a tent for 3 nights. We had already decided to cut the stay to 2 nights as there's not much to do. At about 11 pm on night 2, I felt intense prickling all up my body. I was covered in biting ants. We had to abandon the tent and spent the night in reception. No sleep. From 6 am to 9 am we emptied all our bags and shook out all the ants. They were everywhere! We had a coffee and a tea before getting the taxi out. The owners didn't care at all and charged us 70 baht for the drinks.

At first i wasn't sure because its on top and in the middle of nowhere, but as soon as im there. The owner greets me with her kind heart and with her kids too
It such a beautiful place and to relax. We didnt get the tants though, we got the big room which is amazing, and the owner and her kids treated me and other customers really kind, it feels like home. Oh dont forget about the food! The owner is also a chef, she does the cooking and all of her foods are amazing. If you came, you should give it a try her pat thai. Its amazing!! And she also organized the tour for me which is great. Over all this place is really good and highly recommended!!

Away from the busy main strip in Kao Sok there is this little gem. The owner Tip and Ket (the daughter) makes you feel like your at home. Friendly smiles, good conversations and always ready to help you with what ever you want. Surrounded by animals, jungle sounds and forest, at this place you come to rest and is hard to leave.

We absolutely loved our stay at Khao Sok Hill Top Resort. The place is great, the view is amazing, it is very quiet and a perfect escape from the busy little town. We were welcomed by a wonderful Lady (Lom) and she took such great care of us during the whole time. Her cooking skills are great and with Jip they planned all of our activities (night safari, lake trip and overnight stay, transportation/transfer etc). Once we checked in, everything was organized for us which is a massive +. We will definitely come back to Khao Sok and stay there again.

Can't recommend this homely place enough. The three bungalows are a few kilometers away from the main town, but that's the charm of it - it is a peaceful recluse with jungle vibes. Views of distant rock formations are accompanied by gibbon songs. We were picked up by the owner from the transfer drop off and taken care at every step - very good value breakfast, packed lunches, dinners as if made by your mom, recommendations and organisation of trip to the lake and hike to the jungle, complimentary deserts, making of a bonfire - all with a heartwarming smiles and laughs. Thanks for the great stay!
