Khao Sok Silver Cliff Resort in Khao Sok

We stayed here a night before pickup for a floating bungalow tour and it was pretty decent! The staff were very welcoming and friendly and they helped up with baggage going to our rooms. The views and the property is so beautiful! Surrounded by trees and our view from our room balcony was the river! We got in pretty late so we ate dinner at their restaurant and it was super delicious! Definitely give their restaurant a try! My gf also has a peanut allergy and they made sure her food was made properly. Be prepared to see some bugs in the bathroom since you’re being one with nature but our stay was mostly pleasant. You can definitely hear nature and it was so majestic to wake up to.

I really enjoyed my 5-day stay in the wooden hut. There’s a clear stream flowing right in front, and being surrounded by nature made the whole experience incredibly relaxing. Surprisingly, I didn’t get a single mosquito bite the entire time.

The resort is tucked away from the main road, about 2.7 km from town. I was cycling anyway, so the distance wasn’t an issue for me.

The staff are extremely friendly and speak good English. Milo welcomed me on arrival, he was attentive and gave very detailed explanations.

The food at the resort is excellent and reasonably priced for a meal within a resort. There’s also a small local eatery near the main road that closes at 8 pm.

I had some of my best nights of sleep here. If you can’t do without aircon and hot showers, this is likely not the best place for you.

A really lovely surprise! We booked late on a whim and were very pleasantly surprised by the location and quality of the rooms. The accommodation was new and well built, bed was very comfy, wonderful views, excellent landscapes & gardens, helpful staff, and there is option to purchase breakfast/dinner/drinks at the restaurant area. Oh and a gym with weights made of wood!

We did have to do a bit of damage control for the ants that started making their way in, and the shower was only cold water, but for the location in the jungle that's totally fine.

A lot of the time you expect budget places in Thailand to be quite rough around the edges, this really wasn't. It was clear that the bungalows had been recently and well built and we're genuinely nice place to be.

The resort is beautiful! I’ve enjoyed my stay very much, the staff is lovely as well. The bed was super soft (needed that after travelling in Thailand with only hard beds, haha). Looking forward to coming back!

Solo female traveller for 3 night / 4 day stay with the Tarzan Tour package.

I stayed in one of the new octogon bungalows with the river view and it was absolutely lovely. The bungalow was spacious with a nice bathroom, nicely sized bed, several power outlets, fans, beautiful deck along the river, and free, unlimited drinking water in the room.

The resort restaurant was delicious with many options for various foodie and non-foodie types.

I enjoyed the hiking tours with my tour guide Dam! He was very informative and had a great eye for spotting wildlife, big and small.

The full lake tour with the cave and waterfall cannot be missed as well!

Would be happy to visit this resort again!

I stayed here with my husband and two children. The host, Karen, was so helpful giving recommendations about the local area and assisting us however she could. The fresh food was delicious and I loved the relaxed atmosphere at Silver Cliff. Nothing was too much trouble. The children loved the freedom and borrowed the on site bicycles to explore the forest. The bungalows were clean and well equipped whilst giving a real authentic rainforest experience. We will definitely be going back.
