Tropicana Village in Cha-Am

We, group of 9 friends, visited only the restaurant, which was truly a fantastic gastronomic experience with impeccable service. The view over the fishing lake with surrounding mountains is unique. The food is more than delicious and is nicely presented on your plate or dishes and the drinks are wonderful. The pond has a few (I counted 4, but I heard there are 5) large eel type fish. Sorry, I am not a fish person and I am sure these fish have a beautiful specific name. The grounds are very well maintained and offer many different spots for great picture taking. We look forward to our next visit, which can not be soon enough.

What a place! We spent 3 nights here on our trip to Thailand. And couldn’t fault the place one bit, all the staff are amazing will cater to all your needs! Tom and all the fishing staff are very knowledgeable and will do their absolute best to make your fishing experience the best one it can be! Unfortunately on our trip the lakes were fishing hard but I still managed 4 fish on the specimen lake and 10 on the species lake. The biggest being an 85lb Siamese Carp and the most impressive being the 35lb Ripsaw Catfish!
The location and setting is beyond expectations the only downside for us was the long drive from Bangkok but a very small one if nitpicking.

Unbelievable experience today with my family at Jurassic Park. Arrived and was greeted by staff both at the front of the property and then inside. We were just there for the day but all the staff could not have been more amazing. From the expert fishing assistance to the wonderfully attentive waitress staff I could not give a more glowing review.

We (the parents) are not fishing folk however our kids 15 & 11 love it. The staff were more than happy to assist where our boys needed and let them be independent in perfect balance.

Our youngest also loved the pool access and the food was amazing!

A must visit if you want the VIP fishing experience and to come face to face with some true fresh water giants!!

This place is amazing.
The fishing is top notch with a wild variety. More catfish types than I could count, massive Siamese Carp, the elusive arapaima (which I still need to go back for), and tons of others.

This is all done with the help of the gillies (local guides) who give you hints about what to do and how to approach the fishing, but don’t take over.

If you are in Thailand and looking for spectacular fishing at a nice resort, this is your place.

An Unforgettable Experience at Jurassic Lake Thailand!

I recently had the absolute pleasure of visiting Jurassic Lake Thailand, and I can honestly say it was one of the most incredible experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. They were not only professional and knowledgeable but genuinely friendly and eager to help with anything I needed. Whether you're a seasoned angler or a complete beginner (like me!), they make sure you feel comfortable and confident every step of the way.

The fishing itself was phenomenal – the setting is beautiful and peaceful, and the excitement of landing some of the world’s most impressive freshwater fish is just unmatched. The guides were patient and full of helpful tips, always making sure I was having a good time.

And let’s talk about the food – absolutely delicious! Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It really added to the whole experience and made it feel like a true getaway.

If you’re considering a visit, don’t hesitate. Whether you're chasing trophy fish or just looking for a unique and memorable adventure, Jurassic Lake Thailand delivers on every level. I’ll definitely be back!

Ps. The Indian and Thai Currys are absolutely beautiful.

After waiting such a very long time to get to Jurassic Mountain, it definitely exceeded my expectations. Once through the gates, picture this scene, an oasis with beautiful trees, manicured gardens,pool, waterfall, beautiful villas. Once the fishing had started, the lake produced really lovely fish, PB was beaten. Tom and Oliver were very welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Our taxi driver looked after us well, likewise Ton in the Anglers Rest who seemed to be "jack of all trades" always had a smile, was helpful. In fact we were really pleased that we would be going back there after a week away. The gillies were always on hand, popping into the water when the fish came in. The girls from Anglers Rest were a credit to Jurassic, happy girls. They worked hard, dropped off food and drink to the swims on their scooters. The whole set up certainly gave the guests the best experience. A very well run fishing venue, hopefully we will be back one day. Thank you all for making our trip truly memorable.

Lovely stay, rooms are exactly what you need, lovely seating area outside over looking the nice pool. your there to fish. The staff were brilliant and really helpful. The food is as nice as anywhere we've been this trip. The fishing is great and I would highly recommend to go for a trip, I will be looking to return if I can. I had 5 fish in 2 days.

First visit to Jurrasic in early Feb 23, had a fantastic time. The resort is very well looked after, staff are friendly and helpful and some great fishing. Concierge service is brilliant and restaurant provides a huge of choice of food. Absolutely loved it, can't wait to return.

If you love your fishing then don't miss out on this place there are some monsters to be had staff are lovely the place and the accommodation is beautiful
