Long Beach Cha-Am Hotel in Cha-Am

this hotel is not to be recommended for the price you end up paying, they charge more for one room than what is stated on google, they are not very eager to clean, they do not change the bed linen until they see it is discolored, a friend of mine had spilled some chocolate on the bed, even then they did not change the bed. the receptionists pretend they know English but they understand absolutely nothing you say, I arrived without having booked to visit friends and asked if they had any rooms available? then the receptionist asks in English: how many nights? then I hold up 2 fingers at the same time as I clearly say: two nights, I did this 4-5 times to make sure. after the first night I go to the beach when the people who are supposed to wash (who don't do it) came to my room. when I come back five hours later, my room is wide open, equipment for a lot of money plus cash lying around. I was lucky as nothing went missing, but I went to tell reception that they had left my door open,the receptionist then did not mention that they were something wrong at that time.later in the evening at 18:30 I go out to eat with 6 friends, then the guard at the hotel comes to grab me and wonder what I'm doing here? they had only registered that I would stay one night, and I paid 1800thb when I arrived at a tired dirty hotel, so when the receptionist asked for 1800thb after I asked for 2 nights, I thought it was a bit expensive for 2 nights, so I didn't react since the price rhymed with 2 nights. I had to pay another 1800thb for another night. I felt cheated by the hotel, I asked the price for 2 nights, had the receptionist been honest then and said they should have almost 4000thb for 2 nights, then there are many places to stay in Cha Am that are less than half the price, and mostly better too that I could have gone to. there have been a lot of misunderstandings since no one in the hotel knows English, not even the receptionist. the only thing that is ok in this hotel is the breakfast, it is the one thing that makes me give this hotel one star and not 0 stars
