If you need brand new shining finish, this is not your hotel. But if you are OK with older facilities which are mostly very well maintained you find this resort good. Few places like deck of italian beach restaurant need refurbishment but most of the things, including rooms are in OK condition even oldish design. I first stayed here over ten years ago and just revisited. While the hotel now shows its age a bit, its facilities and garden design are still absolutely impeccable. Tara Mantra is really a good quality 4 - star Hotel. The rooms are spacy and clean, bed and pillows are soft and good. There is a wide range of different kind of eating on the breakfast. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Tara Mantra.

My first time visiting Hua Hin and it really did not disappoint. The room was spacious, the view was great and the location is superb. It was quiet and peaceful. Some might find the location slightly far, but it was really nice to be away from the city and near the beaches. The morning breakfast was good, ample parking with great staff and service.
