The Regent Cha am Beach Resort, Hua Hin in Cha-Am

If you need brand new shining finish, this is not your hotel. But if you are OK with older facilities which are mostly very well maintained you find this resort good. Few places like deck of italian beach restaurant need refurbishment but most of the things, including rooms are in OK condition even oldish design.
We had room with pool/sea view and with large balcony we loved to sit and watch the sea!
I also loved the layout of the hotel, there is lot of green around. Not all modern resort has such.
Main pool was rather quiet and relaxing at least during our stay.
All staff are very friendly and does good job of keeping you happy.

Summary, not latest and greatest, but very nicely maintained affordable older resort!

This establishment is spot on and well organized as always, has been over 10 years since last stay and this place remains perfectly fine. Overall is great and we are looking forward to our future visits.

Regardless several concerns/comments requiring improvements and management should pay attention to upcoming guests:

!!Must pay attention!!
1. Bottles of water and facilities/appliances arranged should be sufficient for booked guests in each room, we booked for three persons and only got two bottles. After ringing the reception, other facilities/appliances were filled up. Although no additional bottle of water was given, of which was quite frustrated as we notified this issue via phone call.

2. The parking lots are all in the open, consider adding make-shift sheds to prevent the sunlight and rise in temperature.

3. Despite breakfast being well arranged and appropriate for continental breakfast, as standardised per se. Most coffee machines are broken, resulting in a queue of guests needing to unnecessarily wait for their turns to drink coffee. The machines should be urgently fixed to avoid further frustration.

4. Some guests left their trash outside their rooms and were displayed over night and day, which shows cleaners barely clean the common areas in front of guest's rooms and some guests may feel disgusted.

Optional comments
1. Even if the back door is opened and linked to another mini town, which is walkable from the hotel. Should there be a gate set up to fully accommodate guests' safety? Considering the fact that many debaucheries are located nearby, adding a door should help protect the guests from outsiders.

2. Guests staying at the hotel should receive some discounts when visiting the shops within the hotel area? This should encourage the guests to visit those shops and also increase their sales.

Our stay at The Regent Cha-Am Beach Resort was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff were consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout our visit.
The resort is ideal for families. The kids’ club is well run and engaging, giving children a fun and safe space to enjoy themselves, while the multiple pools cater perfectly to both relaxation and play. Breakfast was a highlight each morning—generous, varied, and of excellent quality, with something to suit every taste.
A special mention must go to the management team. The managers are visible, approachable, and clearly committed to high standards of service, which makes a noticeable difference to the overall experience.
Another great advantage is the small village within walking distance of the resort, offering a variety of local food options and light entertainment—perfect for a relaxed evening stroll.
All in all, The Regent Cha-Am Beach Resort offers comfort, excellent facilities, and outstanding service. We would happily return and highly recommend it to families and couples alike.

Regent Cha Am is an old but well-established hotel,the overall is very good, because they continue to maintain and renovate it regularly. I love that the property is huge, with plenty of green space, and it also has its own private beachfront. However, on the day we visited, the tide was high, so there wasn’t much beach to walk on.

The room was clean, and the dining options were up to standard, with two restaurants available. I recommend the one near the kids’ pool — it’s more space. The hotel also has a fitness center, swimming pools 2 big one,and a kids’ club, making it a great choice for families.

We couldn’t be happier with our wedding experience at this beautiful venue (Regent Chaam + Bonnie on the Beach) in Hua Hin.

We had over 50 guests and everything was handled flawlessly. The team was extremely professional, always responsive, and made sure every detail was perfectly arranged.

They guided us with great suggestions and tips, which made the entire planning process stress-free.

The food was absolutely outstanding, the live band they organised was amazing, and the whole event felt perfectly coordinated. Nearly everything was included in one complete package, even the hotel rooms for our guests.

All of our guests loved the wedding and the venue, and we received so many compliments.

After comparing many venues, including several five-star hotels and big hotel chains, nothing could beat this service and value in the Hua Hin area. If you are planning a wedding here, this is definitely the best choice for your budget.

Great facility, clean and tidy and great location with beautiful pool and outside facilities & ambience.

Nice place

Delicious breakfast. Big swimming pool. Also, there is kid club and baby swimming pool. My baby is happy to play there. But no hair dryer in the room.
Due to it is big hotel, I feel that I have to walk so far to reach swimming pool or restaurant 😅.

This resort the staff is very nice, room is comfortable and the breakfast is delicious but Transportation is not convenient.
