Lanta Mother Hostel in Lanta Island

We had a really nice stay at this resort. The room was very comfortable with brand new air conditioning, with a large bathroom/shower. Shower gel and shampoo provided, as well as hand wash.

Towels were very clean and replaced daily if requested. The room was cleaned daily, with water and toilet paper provided daily.

The location is just between the two main roads with shops, bars and restaurants, so you are close by but have a more peaceful stay as it is slightly quieter. The beach is only a few minutes walk. You can hire a moped to navigate the island and area faster.

The facilities are excellent, with an amazing pool, comfortable sunbeds, with pool towels, and a swim up bar. Perfect spot to sunbathe and relax with the lush green trees surrounding.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating, providing information about the area and also offering trips and moped hire at very reasonable prices. The current owners are very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was rather basic

We stayed here for 4 nights. And I will start with the positives;

The customer service level was amazing. The main guy at the hotel went above and beyond to provide the best service he could.

From arrival they helped with bags, then helped me with a scooter, which then I didn’t take as I hadn’t done it before and was too nervous so then he helped me with a car rental, assisting me directly in person at the company for car. He helped to arranged the Tuk Tuk when needed and gave us lots of great recommendations. And in general was a super nice, kind, generous guy. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Bed and pillows were comfy. The general cleanliness of the room was fine. The location is nice as it’s kinda halfway north and south for all the beaches and only 5 mins away from FITONLANTA. Air conditioning was good and efficient. The pool seemed okay and everyone else was enjoying it a lot.

What I would improve would be the water pressure in the shower and it was a bit painful to shower after being at the beach with such low pressure.

The room could be more modern and felt a bit dated.

Valid for money was a bit poor and I think this was the time year as we went at Christmas period.

We had an issue with dirty water one morning but they sorted it within 20 mins of us telling them, again the guy was super helpful and kept asking us if it was okay.

Overall totally fine for a few nights stay.

Had such a great time here, hostel is clean and owners are super friendly will be happy to help you with anything you need! Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting koh lanta, great location for food, bars and beaches all close by, motorbikes can be rented from the hostel if you want to see a bit more of the island as koh lanta is a big island

Really nice resort with nice rooms. A little bit of from the street but with your own transportation it’s only a minute to a nice beach. They’ve also their own taxis.

Great location as long as you rent a scooter! We did for the whole time we were there through the hotel! No complaints everything went smooth! They also changed it for us when we noticed the first one had a slow puncture! Also a lovely hotel with modern facilities! Staff were all friendly and always greeted you with a smile and a hello! We would 100% stay there again if we come back to Lanta! Thanks to everyone of the staff for a great stay!
