A very lovely hotel and good value for money. The staff are highly trained in western customer service. During high season check in can be at 2pm. If you arrive early, bring a small bag and head to the pool, beach or many restaurants nearby.

The WI-FI is abysmal at this hotel. There is a lot of building work going on opposite the hotel. Another large apartment block or hotel is under construction. A lot of noise from 7-30am until 6pm.

We stayed in the Family room mid April for 2 weeks and can not fault this resort . Room was pool side with less than a minute walk to the beach. Rooms we cleaned daily and Staff are very friendly. The property was on the beach but could have used beach umbrellas. They have 2 beautiful pools. One seemed for family’s with screaming children and the other infinity pool was beautiful but you couldn’t sit at it as there was no shade or even umbrellas over the chairs.

Cannot recommend Morakot Lanta highly enough! The family who own and run the hotel are so friendly and helpful. The whole place is spotless and we simply couldn’t fault it. We were able to check in early and after a very early start that day plus a long ferry journey it was really appreciated. Pool/beach towels provided each day and room cleaned to a high standard.

Location is ok. Few minutes walk to beach. Need to provide mosquito coil or a fan at the balcony area. Aircon is not cold due to toilet door below it. Not sure is ceiling design or unfinished paint on the ceiling. Massage area is good, near to pool.

This resort is so nice with garden / rainforest feeling. The staff was super friendly and everything was going very smoothly. The beach is very close and clean. True value for the money.

The location is good. 2-5 of walking to the beach. The facilities are worn. Seems the hotel is saving on everything they can. (E.g. they don't provide you tea bags, no umbrellas, light in the rooms is dark, water supply is weak). The pool is usually occupied with small children. All other elements seem good.

The room was nice, with a hammock in front. I really liked it. The restaurant was excellent, and the staff were friendly. The room was about a 2-minute walk from the beach. I spent 5 days here, and it was quiet and had a great atmosphere. I will definitely return.

We are so sad to leave! The staff is what made the experience top tier. Sun-sun was an incredible bartender and just an awesome person. He always came out of the bar to greet us when we walked by, played with our baby, and got to know us. The women in the kitchen and restaurant were so lovely, kind, and funny. Amazing resort. This is the second time staying here, the first being 7 years ago. The staff and the resort are amazing. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, but starting to require some repair and the WIFI needs improvement.

A fantastic hotel on the cliff with a great environment and a very peaceful atmosphere. Although the rooms and hotel facilities are a bit dated, the service is excellent and the staff are very friendly. It's especially worth mentioning that the hotel's cocktails and food are outstanding, and the location is perfect for enjoying the sunset. Would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Absolutely great hotel! We stayed one of the villa rooms with the spa/whirlpool bath on the terrace. Huge, clean room with gorgeous views in a private cove. Attentive staff. Lovely breakfast and also ate lunch which was great. Walkable in to town and the beach. Would highly recommend! :)

✨ Just got back from our honeymoon at The Houben and WOW! The pool area with its stunning ocean view is unreal 🌊 The best part? The staff and owner are incredibly sweet and welcoming - always greeting us with big smiles! The pool is super clean and well maintained. We had a fantastic 5 night stay at Lanta Miami Resort and would live to return one day.

The hotel is a bit far from the pier, but if you want to go to Koh Lanta National Park, Miami is not far. The staffs are attentive, the facilities are good, the swimming pool is okay, except for the parking lot.. The pavilion for eating, eating dinner, the beach is wide and beautiful, watching the sunset, the cool breeze, seeing a lot of big crabs on the beach, it's so cool. 👍👍

Even though I’m rating it five stars I have to warn anyone else coming that there are a lot of families with noisy little kids and the space is pretty compact so you will hear them for sure. We stayed in the apartments across the street for a night, which is not really worth it in my opinion, and the second night at the beach bungalow next to the pool. It was surprisingly difficult to communicate in English with staff. Restaurant food is ok, recommend the lime shake. Too pricey for what you actually get (for ex breakfast not included and charged 300 B/person). There is a wonderful black hotel cat (say hi from me). Wifi hardly worked after 6 PM. The location on the beach is great but it's not so inspiring to use the sunbeds overlooking the beach view...

Very pleasant stay, had a first row bungalow. Close both to beach and pool. Green and lush. Excellent and very friendly service. Nice neighborhood as well, good bars and music. Best food this week was had at this hotel restaurant!
