Where to stay with kids in Krabi Province

Sofitel Krabi is an absolutely amazing hotel — beautiful property, excellent location, and genuinely warm, attentive service throughout our stay

We later realized that the highest room rate on December 31st included a New Year's Eve gala dinner, which featured a very lavish meal and fantastic song and dance performances! There were also countdown fireworks! The New Year's atmosphere was incredibly lively! I will definitely be back! Such a delightful hotel!

Alternatively, you can stay at the hotel and enjoy activities like swimming, sunbathing, table tennis, billiards, and golf. The hotel's environment is incredibly beautiful; just stepping onto the grounds is refreshing

Everything felt well-managed and effortless, from check-in to the overall experience on the property. The atmosphere is relaxing yet premium, and it’s a perfect place to unwind as a couple

The pools are fantastic, offering something for everyone—from fun for kids to serene spots perfect for couples and singles seeking relaxation. We can’t recommend this hotel highly enough!

This is a true resort experience! You can take a boat to Railay Beach for rock climbing or book a speedboat island hopping tour directly through the hotel

There’s plenty to do around the resort: free kayaks (when the water is calm), pool and ping-pong tables, complimentary adult and kids’ bikes, boxing lessons, and even a dedicated scuba and snorkeling office for excursions

The pool and beach are perfect. Mee and Fad were amazing as the pool. While there are massage places odd property, we found the spa here to be our best fit. It was a wonderful experience with Yaya and Noon

It’s also part of the TUI hotel list, which means you’ll find quite a few families with young children. The grounds are beautiful, full of lush plants and wildlife, and there’s direct access to the beach

More families with baby and kids arrived, the breakfast area became quite busy, and the pool area felt much more like a kids’ play space. This wasn’t something we noticed when we first checked in

We stayed three days at Rawi Warin during our island-hopping holiday. Overall, the hotel is very good, with excellent service and warm hospitality

The additional services like pool table, ping pong and bikes were great for our older kids

Kim,Sa,Seem,M,Ta,Roh,Prae,Jenny,Oom,Fom and Mus on reception as well as all the lovely staff in the restaurant really made our holiday, if ever we are lucky enough to visit Ao Nang again I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel

The best part of this Hotel is the staff,they are absolutely lovely and couldn't do enough for us,from the second you pull up on the forecourt you are greeted with big smiles

Great breakfast buffet with plemty of choices. Big praise to the ladies which work at the kids club. Theye were so warm, friendly and welcoming. Our kids loved to go there and play with them

The breakfast was very good. Lots of fresh fruits and egg station serving omelettes etc. Room nice and was serviced well. Staff very helpful.

Just had a lovely 11 nights at Centara Anda Dhevi in Ao Nang with my family. Cant fault the location or the rooms

During the day you can stay at pool, but most likey go out to visit. If anything else, there is also Centara Resort

There is a 7-11 on the corner of the main road and a mini big c just across the main road. The owners are friendly and speak good English. There is also a restaurant on site serving good food at reasonable prices

Good service staff, car rental service, near 7-Eleven, near the beach

We stayed in the bungalows, which were spacious and well-equipped. There was a clothes drying rack inside and another on the porch—this was the first hotel where we had ample space to dry our clothes

Lunches and dinners range from Thai cuisine to burgers at more than reasonable prices. The location is very convenient, the fine sandy beach with shallow waters is a 5-minute walk away

The air conditioning was strong and kept the room cool. The location was very quiet, allowing us to rest peacefully. The only minor inconvenience was during heavy rain when the metal roof became quite loud

They help us with excursions and transportation. The lunches are excellent, as are the other meals we had at their restaurant. The room is spotless, and we were a maximum of 5 minutes from the beach

Pool was a little dirty (nothing extreme) our room had damp on the walls with some of it peeling off. Weird smell came from the bathroom I think this may have been damp too so made sure the fan was on constantly

good place to stay with child for few days. pros is they have small swimming pool. cons is that they cleans rooms not every day

Take deluxe rooms-don't recommend-an overpayment for a form incomparable. Eternal hell does not allow you to be on the balcony and keep the curtains open. But in fact the numbers are the same

Cheaper to take Breakfast at the 7/11

Everything is good, rooms were clean, Gallery had a good view except that they don't have LIFT :X You need to take stairs (my room was on 3rd floor and there were more floors) along with my luggage :x No helper available to carry your luggage

Breakfast was enjoyable, and the staff stood out the most—warm, welcoming, and attentive from the moment I arrived. I’d definitely recommend this place for couples looking for a peaceful and romantic escape

It was magnificent! I really loved this hotel. The grounds are huge and very picturesque, with a large pool and loungers. There's also a private pond with water lilies where you can kayak

The facilities are impressive, especially the pool, which was spotless and set in beautifully शांत surroundings. Waking up to the garden view was a highlight

The view is amazing. The staff are very friendly. The pool is large and clean. The price is reasonable. I extended my stay. I definitely recommend it.

We loved the swimming pool, the gym, the island of peace that the resort was - and the comfort of our room

Even though we had to settle for a twin room (we booked with next to no prior notice) it was extremely comfortable. But really, the staff made our stay super memorable. Cannot recommend this place enough!

It’s a family friendly hotel and a place where you’d enjoy if you love loud music and alcohol deals. The hotel itself is pretty rundown especially we took the pool access room, you can see the balcony is falling apart

There was a girls hygiene product in the stairs for 3 days so it’s not getting cleaned. The rooms are noisy and pool area also. If you want a quiet relaxing swim this is not the place

The only downside for us was that the pool sunbeds are limited in our opinion and pool is relatively small (which also connects to the swim up rooms) again, if you are considering booking a swim up room, this may mean you don’t have a protected area as it adjoins to the public pool

Amazing hotel with great amenities. Just a short walk from the ao nang beach. They also gave us an upgrade to limestone rock view room, which was quite surprising. The room was well furnished with all necessary amenities

Hotel was great, a good selection at breakfast , walking distance to beach and lots of restaurants to enjoy, view from the balcony was lovely, staff was friendly, bed was comfortable it’s a nice place to relax and enjoy your vacation after all the activities of island hopping around Krabi, if I’m ever in Krabi again I’ll definitely stay here

Transportation to Railay beach is very easy, you can reach the street where phi phi tours and tour companies where you can join many tours are located in 5 minutes on foot. We loved it, thanks for everything:)

I'm sharing this review because honestly I can't understand the fact that this resort can have Bad reviews! The hotel itself is beautiful, is big and right a step from the beach! Beautiful pools, gardens ,flowers and amazing staff always able to help give you advices and tips! We had the Platinum suite Which was OUTSTANDING!!! Huge suite with living room bathtub and the cherry on top the bathtub...

We enjoyed the every sunset moment at the beach. - the pool is well maintained and great

got lost a couple of times within the grounds. lots of swimming pools to choose from but they close at 6pm and were very strongly chlorinated. food was good , we enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffets

the beach felt private which was nice. we booked the family room which was on the 3rd floor and was surprised there wasn't any lifts

The water pressure could be still better. - Mosquito issue but they also offered the electrified mosquito repellent. - the room condition is a bit aged compared to what we expected

The breakfast has so many options and the evening meals are a fair price. We would stay here again, however if you don't like children in your holiday resort, this is not for you

The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room felt luxurious, and the whole vibe of the hotel is just perfect. The rooftop pool and location near the beach are bonuses too

The service here is genuinely excellent — they really go out of their way to make you happy. Highly recommend this place PS I arrived at BlueSotel SMART around 11AM and even though check-in was officially at 3 PM

I arrived at BlueSotel SMART after a long journey and was initially given a Deluxe Double Room With Balcony. When I mentioned a couple of small things, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful

Good experience. The rooftop pool is great and the room is quite spacious. The location is abit annoying because it’s a steep walk to the main road but other that than that good hotel

All was great. Direct access to the beach, The room was big and clean, Three pools, with restaurants and bars next to them offering happy hour

Best thing is for senior citizens they can also take a room on the ground floor as breakfast restaurant is also on the ground floor. Not all the rooms has bathtub but it really doesn't matter

Extremely good air con (powered through this islands intense climate with no issues). Breakfast was decent and big but far from spectacular, some toast, fruit, yogurt, Asian warm food

A very lovely hotel and good value for money. The staff are highly trained in western customer service. During high season check in can be at 2pm

Only downside is all the Swedish people who leave their pool towels to "reserve" themselves sunbeds by the pool - for HOURS, resulting in irritation among guests

If you arrive early, bring a small bag and head to the pool, beach or many restaurants nearby

Our favourite hotel on this beach. There is a complementary breakfast served in the reception area until 11. 30 AM (highly recommend the "Chinese bread sticks/doughnuts")

Enjoyed the stay very much. The coffee and service was nice. The pool area needs more shade. Our shower in the room was always cool.

A resort hotel on Krabi Beach with a great swimming pool. I stayed on the second floor, and the duvet was quite damp.

It would have made the experience much better if the hotel had at least responded or informed us earlier. Overall still a pleasant stay, but I hope the hotel pays more attention to guest requests in the future

They have a useful app where you can request anything you need and also indicate any problems. We had a slight leak in Our bathroom and it was fixed within 1 hour of us signaling there was an issue

Not enough air conditioned breakfast space and whilst staff cleared last people's plates etc they failed to wipe down the table unless asked to. Rooms and service all very good tho

However, the entire 3-kilometer stretch of beach is the most bustling, and you'll want to explore it anyway. So, a walk to the night market and back isn't a problem at all

Aonang Cliff Beach resort stands for its name. This resort has a lovely view to the Cliff and beach as well. You can enjoy the sunset from your rooms or the infinity pool

Great location and marvelous pool. The elevator didn't work and that quit difficult with the steps. But the staff is great and helpful

On the positive side, the staff were friendly, and the main highlight is the pool area, which offers a beautiful sea view of Ao Nang

Essentially, what you are paying for here is the pool view rather than the overall hotel experience

In the hotels defence the breakfast is nice, the staff are great, especially the guys manning the pool area, they're great! It's also a good location. The cleanliness is OK too, no nasty bugs hiding in your room

Hygiene: Impeccable, their staff were constantly cleaning every time we saw them. Environment: Prime location, absolutely fantastic spot. We had a view of the mountains instead of the sea, which was quiet and peaceful

Facilities: The swimming pool was useful, especially since you can't swim at Ao Nang beach

Had a comfy stay at Holiday Inn Ao Nang. Hotel staffs were very welcoming and smiley. Room was clean as well. Only downside is having to take a buggy up to the hotel room. Other than that, all is good :)

The rooms and the hotel itself are pretty good, arguably one of the better hotels on Ao Nang's main street. My 'garden view' room actually overlooked a slope and some trees 😅, but it was very quiet

The hotel was clean and had very good service. swimming pools and water slides are so nice and my children loved it so well.

The resort is strategically located across East and West Railay beach and 1-minute walking distance to the pier. I cannot fault anything with the service and hospitality probably the best this resort could offer

When we checked out, the hotel had a boat to take us to Ao Nam and took care of our luggage for us (we didn’t know so that was a pleasant surprise). Breakfast was very tasty and the staff often did refills on the food

Right next to the beach with many activities. The only sad part was the amount jelly fish. Apart from that, the service was good. Be aware of taxi boats, in Krabi, they are looking to rip of their customers

Fantastic resort with clean, modern comfortable rooms. Multiple pool options with one next to the beach. Beach has great sand, nice activities and lots of restaurants and cafes

Out of 5 destinations visited, Krabi was the worst for long tail boat rip taxi rip offs

There is also a hotel transfer to/from airport for a fee (1,800 THB per way) which was very convenient. Facilities are okay and good enough. Food is okay but we opted to eat out at nearby restaurants

The hotel arranged a boat trip for us to Railay Beach, which departed directly from the pier at the hotel (about 50m away). The rooftop pool on the third floor is a bit older, but still perfectly good

Although English communication was a bit challenging at times, the staffs' efforts and the availability of translator apps ensured smooth interactions (install the translator app before hand)

The spacious rooms provided a comfortable stay after a day of exploring, and the helpful and polite reception staffs made us feel right at home

This resort is located approximately 30 minute from Krabi International Airport by car, and transfer for 6 adults cost about 1500 Thai Baht

The highlight for us was the breathtaking view of the bay, which provided a serene backdrop throughout our stay

I like the hotel but the breakfast is lack of variety.

Every day the pool sunbeds where reserved by guests, no one did a thing and I don't think you should put it on your guests to remove towels from reserved sunbeds, I think that's asking for trouble

Room is okay (very standard) but good size and great view! We booked beachfront one so we can get up every morning with a nice ocean view and watch sunset from our patio

The room is little dusty though and shower room is not the best. Our shower head can’t be adjusted so it’s a little odd when we took a shower. Staff is nice and many staff around if you need anything

There is fire show as well in front of the restaurant on the beach at 8 pm so we gets to enjoy our dinner and fire shows

I loved my stay here and whilst there is not much in the eay of night life, the peace and beauty of this location drives one's focus to enjoying the stunning beach and warm waters

Excellent at catering to gluten free guests. We were surprised by the quality and variety of gluten free food. We went with a hill side villa with a private pool and it was magnificent

We spent four nights at Pimalai resort. Very quiet, elegant, peaceful, very professional and kind staff. Our room with view on both the garden and the sea was fantastic. The breakfast buffet was amazing

From the moment we arrived at Pimalai, everything felt effortless. The staff greeted us with warmth and genuine smiles that instantly set the tone for the entire stay

Everywhere all the time someone blowing their disgusting smoke in my face. They also did not mention a happy honeymoon ever at all even though we left a note in the booking note, which seemed weird to me

Bedroom was also enormous overlooking a large enclosed garden with a pathway opening right onto the beach. A water monitor (circa 3ft long) walking across the lawn, added to a "At one with nature" experience

The hotel is just a 15-minute walk from the beach, and there are lots of shops and massage places nearby. One small downside is that the main pool doesn’t have stairs to get out—only the rooms with pool access have steps

The hotel's location is a bit far from the beach. Its main feature is the direct pool access rooms, which I only got to experience once as I was busy with island hopping every day

Room is complete with nice bed and good airconditioning. Breakfast is great! The only thing that could be better is de temperature control in the shower, one second it is boiling hot, 5 seconds later it is ice cold

The staff responded to our request and we were moved to room 2510, which we highly recommend. The room offered a beautiful view of both the mountains and the sea, was very clean, and the towels were changed daily

The location was also very strategic, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars, 7-11, pharmacies, and local shops nearby, and most importantly Ao Nang Beach all within walking distance

We returned to this hotel for the second time and stayed for three days. Initially, we were given a deluxe room located at the back of the hotel, with a forest view

( just make sure you stay on the adult pool side as the regular pool is a little small when it's full of kids)

The resort is located on a private beach, and the only way to reach it is by taking a boat from Nopparat Thara Beach, which takes about 15 minutes. Because of this, the resort feels very peaceful and secluded

I think this was the best place i’ve stayed in so far. The location was incredible, staff very friendly. Had the luck to see some monkeys as well near the pool

The beach is long, quiet, and very beautiful with clear water. However, there are no fish or coral right in front of the beach

The hotel is pretty nice overall, right on the beach with a really wide beachfront. The beach is swimmable and perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sea vibes. The atmosphere at night is also really lovely

The rooms are nice size and it worked fine to share two queen size beds for our family. The cleaning was not the best I've experienced and the property is in desperate need of maintenance as it can feel a bit neglected

The staff was really great and helped us book attractions and transportation services. Nalini was exeptionally attentive and helpfull with some mishap. Worth mentioning that the onsite spa is absoultly worth it!

The location is a big plus: it’s set in a quiet side street, so you’re away from the main road noise, yet still just a short walk to the beach, monkey trail, shops, and restaurants

We stayed for four nights and left with positive impressions. The service was very good—everything from check-in to housekeeping ran smoothly and staff were friendly and attentive

The resort sits in an excellent micro-location, with accommodation plus office/reception in a leafy forest on one side of the road and the restaurant, bar and pools on the other side by the very nice beach, connected by a tunnel

The hotel is amazing, beach connected to hotel which is a plus, shops are 5/10min walk but you can hire bikes and motorbikes for relly cheap and go where you want which is great, staff at hotel are very friendly and helpfull

The breakfast was really good and the view from the pool was amazing

However, our daughter's family in one of these suffered two or three serious electric shocks from their 'luxury' jaccuzi bath; and they also had no hot water for two days, requiring a change of room

Facilities: The beachside pools are dated, poorly designed (no ladder or steps at all into or out of one of them!), and of unreliable levels of cleanliness. The surrounding grassy area is ill-kept

After I checked out, my pre-booked return bus from another company didn't show up on time, and the front desk staff went out of their way to help me resolve the issue

Every day, we saw adorable dusky leaf monkeys cooling off and munching on leaves on the rooftops and in the trees. They were incredibly cute! We also spotted a hornbill

Wonderful staff, beautiful rooms with large windows, a clean hot tub inside the room, and a pristine bathroom. Also all of the rooms are just steps away from the beach. Cannot recommend more, such an amazing stay

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The garden design is beautiful, and the complimentary mini-bar is refilled daily with a great selection of drinks and snacks

Pool area was beautiful, only small let down was the pool bar, no cold sprite/soft drinks, we had to walk down the beach to buy from somewhere else

When we arrive we also couldn’t check in until later which was fine however would have been great if we were provided some beach towels to use before then. Overall stunning hotel with a great location!
