Kohchang 7 Guest House in Chang Island

Very good!

We booked a last minute stay at Kohchang 7 after a mix up with another booking (our fault) and we're so glad we did! It is in a lovely location. We had a waterfront bungalow with a very small patio area at the front and then there is a larger seating area along the bit in front of all the bungalows. The rooms are not huge but enough space and there is a fridge. Absolutely beautiful views from the seating area and the restaurant/bar and spectacular sunsets. There's not a beach but you can get down to swim in the sea either via the rocks or from a ladder in the bar. The people are super helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. It's just a short walk up to the main road where there are loads more bars and restaurants and a few small shops. Throughly recommend Kohchang 7!

Went there only for the Korean food and it was great, the BBQ meat selection was not very big, but the pork was fresh and tasty, the soup, salads all was very good. The place is pet-friendly and owner is Korean, he is very friendly and attentive, as well as all the staff, would highly recommend this place to visit. If you come earlier, than you will have the front row to watch the sunsets at Ko Chang.

I didn't really liked the rooms. But ok for price, very ok. Then I visited the restaurant during evening. Tried the fermented cabbage soup. My GOD! AMAZING! I really loved that one. Tried some of my friend dish to. Breaded pork and some bowl with a load of things. Good taste everything. My opinion is that it was little bit to much sesameoil in that bowl. And I liked the small plates with the condiments. Pickles. Kim Chi. Small fried shrimps. Nice.

Nice staff. Funny Chihuahua also and very friendly golden likes to get his butt scratched.
Good place!

The food was so good. We called and ordered the delivery to our hotel. The food was hot, tasty, and reasonably priced. Like the tasty home cooked Korean food we would find in Bangkok.
We will go eat in at the restaurant tomorrow for sure

The carpark is not the most inviting but we were pleasantly surprised when we got to the restaurant and the food is 100% worth a try. The bbq was great!🤤

The nicwst owner, you can imagine, very helpful and smiling all the time. This place is also the best affordable accomondation on the island, that we found. Perfect bungalovs for a good price very close to the Beach,beautoful restaurant, where you can watch the sunset and tasty (but more expensive) Korean food. We really enjoyed our stay here as a couple, everything was just great and we were sad, when leaving after 5 days here. Highly recommended but only if you have a scooter since it is about 10mins to the Beach.
