Been here before and this time I wasn’t disappointed either. Main rooms are getting refurbished so the only normal rooms available are across the road. They are modern and comfortable with their own pools. Food at restaurant is great. But signs need to be more clear as food items are not marked correctly. Staff are amazing as usual. If you're not getting a sea view villa, don't bother with any of the other bungalows or the beach wing. Just book a mountain view or pool view room; those offer the best value for money. The breakfast is pretty standard, quite Western, and not really suited for Chinese tastes. If you need an extra bed for an older child, you can pay directly at the front desk upon arrival, which is very convenient

We stayed in a Deluxe Chalet on the Seaside last week for a few days. The location and staff were perfect with it being right on the south end of White Sand Beach. However, the age of the resort shows and results in two annoyances - the need for renovation and the active work being done to renovate. Haven't been back in 7-8 years, and while the hotel's location is great and it's quite spacious, the facilities are really outdated. The room lighting is dim, and the cleaning wasn't thorough.

Nice place to stay, territory is beautiful as well as the room. We enjoyed the bathtub. Breakfast is okay, welcome tea was great. The territory near the beach is not as clean as it should be, unfortunately. Other hotels nearby take more care of it. The pool and table-football are too old to still be playable, better to remove it at all.

You are living in literally tropical garden. Rivers and ponds. Lush geenery. It is the main idea of this resort. The downside is that the hotel is pretty old, natural materials used, located in humid jungle, so it inevitably decays with time. Everyday cleaning helps, but not for 100%, the damage is commulating.

It’s a very large hotel with spacious rooms. The staff provide excellent service, and the breakfast is plentiful, varied, and delicious. The location is great and not too crowded. In the morning, there was a Chinese tour group in the restaurant, but the staff refilled the food very quickly. The only downside is that some bathrooms have old or broken fixtures.

Although some areas of the resort are currently under renovation, the remaining facilities still function well and are able to support guests’ needs. The staff communicate well and are helpful for foreign visitors. In particular, Mr. Peter is very kind and shows a high level of responsibility in his service. Overall, the dinner was fair.

The location is excellent. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but everything is delicious, and they have coffee machines. There's some renovation going on, but it didn't bother us. Great location, beautiful beach, and a nice view from the room.

This is something else entirely; you're not entering a hotel, but a construction site. To get a sun lounger, you have to pay 1000 baht, or lie without an umbrella. In the last 15 years, this is the first time I've paid for accommodation and then somehow had to pay for a sun lounger. The next step will probably be paying to enter the sea. Definitely never coming back here!!!

Beautifully situated in secluded area of Koh Chang. Reception area is modern, spacious and comfortable seating. Dining area has variety of seating arrangements and the chefs excel in their culinary skills. The hotel is beautiful and the location and especially the staff are amazing . Maintenance is not exactly what it should be though and it shows. The hot water supply is definitely an area that needs improvement. Similarly, placing a junk/maintenance yard right by the side and the entrance is not a good idea. The hotel is old but in a very good condition. Service is very welcoming and with a incredibly high level of English language proficiency. Beautiful set and setting. Extremely warm and welcoming staff. Great varied breakfast. Only issue was the mosquitoes and the lack of adequate solution as anti-mosquito burning is not allowed in the building we were in.

This resort is incredibly quiet, perfect for a vacation. It has a swimming pool, water slides, and you can even go kayaking. There are lots of little monkeys that wait by the door for food, they're super cute. I'll definitely come back to stay here again. The beach is also great.

This was my first time experiencing Songkran in Thailand, and also my first visit to Koh Chang. I encountered such wonderfully warm and friendly Thai people and enjoyed fantastic hotel service. Both the stunning scenery and the overall vibe of the place were absolutely unparalleled.

The hotel is pretty old, you can tell. But the area of the hotel is still nice, 2 swimming pools and it feels like you’re in the middle of jungle and the restaurant is on the beach together with fire shows almost every night. The beach itself though wasn’t the best experience. It’s too shallow and water wasn’t clear.

The room had a lot of mosquitoes, and the facilities were old. The orange and white slide on the right side of the water park was very dangerous.

I stayed in a standalone cabin, which was quite pricey. I saw they also have rooms in the main building, which I assume are a bit cheaper.

The overall experience was alright, but the facilities need some care. The water park is old and some of the slides are breaking down, they don’t look safe. The hotel is divided in two areas, one across the road and one by the beach. If you are staying across the road you can’t use the pool from the beach side, which is a bummer and a big downside. Would check other places first.

It's the second time I stayed there. The building looks to be showing it's age from the outside, but the inside is nice and clean, the rooms are clean. The restaurant is no longer in use, but there are countless food options from the view of the front door. The swimming pool could be updated a bit, but you're so close to the sea that it's not so important. The staff is friendly, helpful, and kind....

The service was excellent. All the staff were lovely and had great smiles, especially the young man at the front desk who was very charming and polite. The hotel was clean. If I have the opportunity, I will definitely book this hotel again.

The hotel is in a good location, with many shops nearby, convenient for shopping and eating, but the hotel is old, the elevator has been under repair for a long time, the room is small, the air conditioner keeps dripping, and the staff service is OK

Old, but clean. A good place for a budget holiday!

Nice place with a lot of space in the room, a lot of amenities for your comfort, and a cleaning service efficient. What I did not like was the Wi-Fi not working, and it hasn't been fixed during our stay.

Stayed 4 nights. Hot shower was not always working but I didn't complain so I didn't give them the chance to fix it. I had no trouble with noise. Bed was clean and airco also clean. 8 out of 10 would recommend. Would have been a 10 if the hot shower worked
