Banchan Hostel in Ayutthaya City

Feels like home! The breakfast is simple (toast, jam, honey, banana, milk and cornflakes) but there is a microwave, toaster and also a fridge+freezer where you can store your purchased food. The first night I slept in a room with 6 normal beds which are not fully surrounded by curtains. Hence I felt very exposed and that was uncomfortable. The next night I slept in a normal bunk bed with big curtains, which is what the other room should have as well. At least the curtains should be around the entire bed and not just half of it. The bathrooms could be cleaner. Since the hostel is not big at all cleanness is easy to control, but unfortunately that was not the case in the bathrooms.
The best thing about the hostel is the cozy and spacious hangout area in and outside.
Bikes can be rented for 60B a day but they could be in better condition. However it is alright. The staff is super friendly and despite not speaking much english they are super helpful!

You feel like you're at home, not a guesthouse, from here you can easily get to Wat Maha That, Wat Ratcha Burana, Wat Phra Ram, Wat Phra Si Sanphet...in one route (~3km in total one way). The owners are two old women (a mother and her daughter) who can't speak English but are so friendly & funny, it seems like they're sharing their house with you. Clean and tidy however the ground floor is quite hot and has lots of mosquitoes and the area is so boring at night. This hostel is suitable with budget backpackers who like nature and quiet.

Very nice hostel! Friendly staff and comfy beds. Bycicle rent, good location near to restaurants and attractions. Would definitely come back!

I really like this traditional Thai house, it has a pure wooden structure and is decorated with traditional Thai decorations! The house is well maintained and I will stay there again next time I have the chance!

It is very close to the night market. The food there is so delicious that I can’t eat enough. It is also close to the Tree Embracing Buddha Scenic Area!

The hostel is very clean, but you are not allowed to wear slippers inside, which makes it a bit awkward to take a shower

I went to the Street Fighter stage, the Japanese village, and the elephant camp.

Of course, the elephant was not riding.
Just looking at it is enough.
