Hotel owner Mr. Kew is very courteous, hotel having good lock facilities, rooms are bit small but clean. But i want to aware all that the area outside is very very uncomfortable. All shops near this area goes close by 4-5 pm, and we were walking from indian street alone. If you are couple i would suggest to not to book this hotel, rather find some other place. We booked for 2 days but stayed here only for a half day, neither i got refund.
Again if you are accompanied group you may choose this hotel but for a single or couple traveller, not recommended at all.

Cheap hotel in a good location near the palace and temples. Rooms were clean, shower was stingy with hot water, wifi wasn't great, you get what you pay for.

The staff stole from us!!!

We had items on the balcony that got taken. We confronted them about it and at first “they got thrown away” then “maybe the other guests took them” then they were miraculously in the desk drawer at reception. Truly couldn’t believe it. Even then we only got back some of our stuff, the rest was just “gone.”

Don’t stay here if you like comfort or security.

Pros:
- Great location
- Price
- Friendly guy from the staff

Cons:
- not very clean - sheets had stains, no covers on the pillows or duvets (seems doubtful that they clean the whole pillows and duvets after every guest) and there were some bugs in the room
- bathroom is very primitive - you will shower above the toilet so everything is wet (no separate shower)
- Very unfriendly old lady (owner?)

Overall, the location and price are great. If those are your only 2 factors, go for it. We would probably spend more money next time so we feel more comfortable.

Location is fine (10-15 minutes walk from Wat Pho). Rooms have been refurbished recently and are fine. However be careful when booking a triple room: we got a room with two bigger beds one next to the other, so one of us had to sleep in the hole between the two mattresses. Breakfast available but not included, staff helpful even if there are some communication problems due to poor English. WiFi was not working in the room, only in the lobby / on the terrace.

We had the GPH as the last quarter at the end of our Thailand stay
booked. At the beginning, we stayed in Rambuttri Village Plaza is in Soi Ram Buttri.

The GPH is ranked in the same Category as the Rambuttri Village Plaza we booked at the beginning of the trip, and is even slightly more expensive. However, we found that
Price/performance ratio in the GPH significantly worse. For more money our is here
View, much too little.

The Trouble began at the Check in. On the booking platform, payment was
Credit card given. But that was not possible. If you like we with a
Credit card is on the way, is already annoying.

When we saw the room the second shock came. For more money there are only 2
Mattresses on the floor in a broom closet. The rooms of the children had
not even a window, and our only one that does not deserve the name.
A safe was not available.

The Manager has noticed how unhappy we were with the rooms and the us
same price for rooms in the higher category. In return, we had to
agree on the "No Show" list, the fees for
the mediation platform saves.

Furthermore, a Restaurant was a given, so we assumed that if desired
a Breakfast could be. This was not possible. Also was not a
Restaurant recognizable.

The Grand Palace Hostel is placed in the second row, and as
Outside a small covered courtyard. Unfortunately, this Canopy is
leaking, so that you could not sit in the rain outside. In addition, the furniture was so
uncomfortable that it would not be stayed.

As a further disadvantage, we have perceived the situation. The GPH may have its price
with the proximity to the major attractions to justify, but in the evening is in the
all the surroundings except for the food stalls absolutely nothing going on. In the Ram Buttri, it may very tourist
to eat sure, but it at least has the opportunity without a lot of messing around HAZ something and
has then the possibility to work in the many Bars out there and something to drink.

Also with the Service it was not far. For the day of departure I had with the night manager
discussed, that he should order us for 5.30 in the morning, a large Taxi. Who already once the four of
with 4 suitcases and backpacks in Bangkok in a "normal" Taxi wanted to rise know what I'm talking about.
By the gas tank, the storage spaces are very limited. As it was, then, to the extent that he ran only on the road
and waved a "normal" Taxi. The driver had a belt not even a chip for the trunk,
so that we are unnerved, set off with our suitcases and ourselves in a Taxi have been looking for, which
us could take. This has, of course, cost re-teit, which was not scheduled.
Not to mention this may appear to some people petty, was for me, but the icing on the cake :)

Of course I can compare here only with the Rambuttri Village Plaza.
There we had:
to pay - by credit card
- a swimming Pool
- a beautiful outdoor area to relax in after a day of Sightseeing
- the possibility of a rich Breakfast buffet zuzubuchen
Bars, street food and Restaurants in the direct surroundings
- Clean, sufficiently large rooms with good beds and a safe
To create a 5 - minute walk to the Pier where the Orange Flag Boats

Great location easy to reach any spot in Old Town, China Town and Pahurat Market (Indian area). Clean, cheap and nice. Staff is great always ready to help you.

Great location, cheaper and the guys are very helpful to find places. Not a luxury hostel, just to go and rest in the night.

I had a great experience staying at Bed and Bike Hostel. The atmosphere is elegant, calm, and very clean. The hosts are extremely kind, friendly, and always helpful.

They offer free tea and coffee along with small snacks, which is a lovely touch.
If you carry a moka pot, you’re more than welcome to brew your own coffee in their kitchen.

The best part of this hostel is the free bicycle. You can take it out for a city ride anytime. As a big bicycle lover, this was perfect for me. It not only made exploring Bangkok more enjoyable but also saved a lot of money on transportation.

Thank you, Bangkok Bed and Bike, for your warm hospitality. ❤️🚲🙏🏽☮️

The rooms are clean, neat and quiet. People are very respectful.
We chose this location due to its proximity to the start line for the BKK marathon.
The fact that it was well priced and breakfast was delicious was an added bonus.
The A/C was a life saver.

Very nice hostel. Very friendly staff and helpful. Central location, walking distance to subway/metro. Nice breakfast options and coffee. Late check in is possible.

Rooms were really comfy and really liked the chill area in the private room we had! Slightly noisy when people are moving about elsewhere in the building but with older buildings that’s to be expected! Very clean, the staff are helpful and lots of useful tips of places to visit and the option to hire bikes. We also ate here and the food is very nice and fair priced!
