The ambiance is fantastic, with lots of trees and beautifully landscaped gardens, offering a clear view of the mountains.

The best thing about staying at Malee is the delicious breakfasts that she serves every morning. Choices includes, fruit, yogurt and very tasty bread with jam. I had a really lovely stay at Malee's. Being on my own and not riding a scooter, there was the potential for this to be a bit of an isolating trip to Chaing Dao. But thanks to Malee and Kurt it was the opposite. Kurt really knows his stuff about the area and hiking routes. Comfortable and homely stay. Malee is a wonderful host and very helpful. Beautiful gardens and mountain views, delicious home cooked breakfast. We enjoyed our day trip to the waterfall and temple, and had the best chinese gyoza for lunch. Would love to stay again.

At Malee's great bungalow for any true nature lovers. Great sun deck area for mediation or yoga I was surrounded by beautiful mountain views , fresh clean air and hearing the wonderful sounds of animals and creatures in their natural habitat. My bungalow was just perfect. I wouldn't change anything as it has it own unique style. Loved my stay there.

The location is not far away from the market and all other things you need. The small cabins are very well equipped and clean. There are a lot of trees in the area. The owners are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is very good. Don't miss this place if you want a quiet place but still in the city of Chiang Dao.

Perfect stay! Everything was amazing. The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming, the surroundings are beautiful, and waking up to birds singing in the morning is a special touch. With only 4 rooms this is a small resort including a small pool. We stayed in room 2 with a spacious balcony, two very good twin beds, television and spacious bath room with good hot shower. What is lacks in luxury, it makes up for it in charm. It’s a lovely place to stay, at the foot of mountain and at the doorstep of a national park. The staff are very kind and helpful, plus it’s affordable. The place to be, if perfection isn’t what you’re seeking for.

Passed by and stopped the hut kitchen opposite the road for lunch as the place looked nice and clean. We found the food to be so really good value for money that we thought it was worth a review. Recommend thin thai noodles with soy sauce for 65 baht, a bargain! The chiang dai nest 2 restaurant has even better thai food, though more expensive

The most uncomfortable mattress I have ever tried to sleep on. Mold on the ceiling. An army of ants in the bathroom when my wife went in to take a shower. Place declined to refund our unused nights when we checked out early.

A peaceful and lovely spot. The room was clean and we got bottles of water delivered daily. If you have transport this is a fantastic place to stay.

The room is spacious, the bathroom is big, the air conditioner is cool, the TV is clear, there is no breakfast at the price of 400 baht. There are not many accommodations, the page will be about 4-5 rooms, I guess, the parking space is limited, the water flow is strong, the hot water heater is good.

Lovely café in Chiang Dao area, a bit of difficult road from the Main Street to get there but surely worth the visit. Their coffee, pastry, and bakery were really good. Don’t miss their refresher soda, they were absolutely amazing.

A unique overnight stay It's a unique experience to sleep in a roundhouse. The beds are wonderful. You shower outside, which is really nice. The hostess, Suzy, is very informative and offers great tips. Breakfast is well-prepared. All in all, a simple place to stay, but a very enjoyable experience.

It was lovely! It’s set up in the middle of a small community which is cool. Beautiful natural landscape, there’s a river right there. The dorm is nice, no AC but the fans are more than enough. What a stunning, incredible stay I had at this hut in Chiang Dao! I was lucky enough to find one free directly by contacting the owner Khay. Amazing view. Rustic but comfortable cabins perched on hill side with amazing views of Doi ChiangDao. Family that runs the place are very kind - though no english. Rooms are not aircon, but fans provided and mosquito netting. Bathroom is also very basic, but western toilet and hot water. Dinner and breakfast was also amazing. Can't recommend this rustic retreat enough.

Nice and quiet area. Perfect for relaxing. The owner is super nice and kept me company when I was alone in the bar and we challenged etc other how could play the best song. Great location, easy to access from the main road. The atmosphere of the accommodation is lovely and peaceful. Deducting points for a smelly bathroom; it would be great if there were air fresheners available for guests to help with the odor. Other than that, the overall experience was very good.

It was quite dark late at night, the lights weren't on, which was a bit spooky and eerily quiet. The water pressure fluctuated throughout the night, sometimes weak, sometimes strong. The staff, however, were lovely and provided excellent service.
