Baan 2 Dao Farmstay - Hostel in Chiang Dao

What a stunning, incredible stay I had at this hut in Chiang Dao!
I was lucky enough to find one free directly by contacting the owner Khay. She was super sweet and helped me with renting a scooter and recommended places where to go in Chiang Dao and around.
To top it up, the breakfasts and dinners she/her mum cooks are DELICIOUS.
Probably the best fried rice and clear soup I’ve had in Thailand.

This place really is a true gem 💎

What a gem. The views are very very nice. But even better was the friendliness of the staff. The breakfast on the balcony is very nice. Hot showers and peace. Perfect!

Very nice place. We only stayed one night, but what we saw will remain in our memories. The morning was peaceful and beautiful, the breakfast was very rich and delicious. I recommend everyone to stay here, even for one night.😇

We had the most amazing stay here. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The views are incredible! We had dinner and breakfast which were super tasty. Kay is the best host and made sure our stay was perfect.

Amazing view. Rustic but comfortable cabins perched on hill side with amazing views of Doi ChiangDao. Family that runs the place are very kind - though no english. Rooms are not aircon, but fans provided and mosquito netting. Bathroom is also very basic, but western toilet and hot water. Dinner and breakfast was also amazing. Can't recommend this rustic retreat enough.

Feel impressed with the offering girls help Very nice family business I can see the intention of taking good care of us. Have a chance I will come back again I felt like I was relaxing at my own home. The service is awesome. I love this place. I promise I will come back to them again. Very impressed to come to Chiang Dao.

Nice place to stay. If you stay there with clear night sky, you will see the milky way with your eye. No need any filters, any lens

I love this place. The atmosphere is great & the owner is really nice.

"Kay" or "Miss Kay" or "Mama Kay" (what we came to affectionately call her) was FANTASTIC. The perfect vision of hospitality. The huts are simple and well kept. The view is unforgettable from the front porch (we had the one at the very top of the hill overlooking the mountain range to the west). You wander through a longan fruit grove and pick fruit off the bush in-season as you go. The breakfast brought to us each morning by Miss Kay herself was exceptional. This is NOT a luxury hotel but every part of our experience is WORTH THE STAY. The price was perfect. It was Buddhist Lent over our weekend, therefore, no one was selling alcohol but when we asked, Miss Kay did not hesitate to give hers! Wow!
The kiddos running around to help are adorable! She took us straight away to pick up motorbikes to get around all weekend-she was just so utterly helpful and sweet!
This was incredible-five stars!
