If you’re a coffee and matcha lover, this place is definitely worth a visit. They serve excellent drip coffee and offer one of the largest selections of ceremonial-grade matcha in Chiang Dao.

P’Joe, the owner, is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more special. It was also lovely meeting Khun Jazz from Koh Samui, who happened to be a guest there. Great drinks, warm hospitality, and wonderful conversations, I’ll definitely be back ka 🤍

The coffee and food are very good.

Dogs there are sooo beautiful and welcoming. 🐶

Joe is the man! Such a great guy, excellent English. Helpful for setting up anything you need. Even if u don't stay here, you should at least drop by here for a coffee. It is one of the best I have had in Thailand! His place is really neat. Affordable rooms that are good for 1-2 pax or he has a two bedroom house that could probably hold 4-8pax. Very hip place to let a few days drift by. BBQ dinners at night sometimes. Cheers Joe!

Joh - the man, the myth, the legend! What an incredible human being, so welcoming and hospitable. I didn’t actually stay here but I spend all my evenings here hanging by the fire with drinks. Joh also makes world famous coffee. If you’re in Chiang Dao, do yourself a favor and come here!

What an amazing find. The owner Jo is such a kind and helpful man. He helped us find a hiking guide along with renting mountain bikes. We enjoyed our mourning coffee and after dinner drink by the fire.
Highly recommend!!!

Friendly staff. Great coffee, cute little bungalows that back into national park. Birds, lizards, frogs. Awesome Thai milk tea. Basic setup but that’s what I wanted.

What is lacks in luxury, it makes up for it in charm. It’s a lovely place to stay, at the foot of mountain and at the doorstep of a national park. The staff are very kind and helpful, plus it’s affordable. The place to be, if perfection isn’t what you’re seeking for.

Passed by and stopped the hut kitchen opposite the road for lunch as the place looked nice and clean. We found the food to be so really good value for money that we thought it was worth a review. Recommend thin thai noodles with soy sauce for 65 baht, a bargain! The chiang dai nest 2 restaurant has even better thai food, though more expensive
