Beautiful and peaceful

The swimming pool tiles are cracked and very sharp; my nephew cut his toe.
The breakfast system is disorganized; you order one thing and get another. The ordering and receiving system is confusing. If you're looking for privacy, I think it's okay.

The accommodation was great. Quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxation. There were many activities at the resort.

The location is rather remote, about 30 kilometers from the city center, but it truly feels like a paradise! The entire park consists of log cabins along the Xiaogui River! The scenery is beautiful, and the phytoncides in the trees are amazing! 👍

Nice setting and I really wanted to like it, but it had a strange vibe. We stayed 3 nights because we had reservations to experience the elephants at nearby Somboon Legacy Foundation. Each meal had a different location; the first dinner we were escorted to an inside eating area that looked more like a break room and had zero ambiance, the following morning we were led to an outside area for breakfast and were handed a menu to choose from, the following dinner was outdoors with ambient lighting and another breakfast was an actual buffet outside. There was no consistency. The entire facility seemed more designed for conferences and large groups (we're a couple). We were told 100 people were expected for breakfast and to come at a later hour. By the time we came it was like a ghost town. We saw the double-decker tour bus ready to take off with the 100 people, but we never saw them. This was the morning they laid out a buffet, instead of a menu. The food was mediocre. The bungalow was very basic and lacked functionality, like a shelf to put your toiletries on or a table and chairs to eat a meal or spread out on to do paperwork. It would have been nice to have rocking chairs out on the porch. The grounds were beautiful and made up for all the discrepancies. Very peaceful with lots of trees and the river is so peaceful. Like I said, I wanted to like it but it was overall underwhelming.

We were disappointed with our stay. The first night had loud music till late. The property is quite run down with many things in need of repair. Great location and potential but needs TLC and more investment.

We arrived this morning... the reception was not very friendly... I wanted to speak to the person at reception twice and she replied "one moment please" each time, then I was never able to speak... in the evening at the restaurant, a disaster... the service was horrible... the young girls took a very long time to come and serve us... they didn't understand any English... we were told that the restaurant closed at 8 p.m.... so we arrived at 6:50 p.m. for dinner, at 7:43 p.m. we asked for dessert and they finally brought us the bill while turning off the lights and tidying the tables.... As if to say leave please... no wonder there was no one at the restaurant earlier... the pool is super small... only 4 deckchairs and not even mattresses on them... all the paintwork is decrepit, worn and filed...

The old house has rarely been renovated. Breakfast has a little choice. Should be able to prepare food for Muslim guests as well. It would be very good. Worth the price, beautiful river, good atmosphere. Suitable for staying as a family.
