Suan Sai Yok Resort in Sai Yok

We drove all the way from Malaysia just to experience this place 😄

We didn’t manage to get the room type we originally wanted, and the first impression during check-in was a bit challenging as the front desk staff didn’t really speak English, so everything had to go through a translator app 😅

The room itself feels slightly old, but the outside environment makes up for it. The resort area is spacious and relaxing, with a huge field for kids to run around, trains passing through occasionally, fish feeding, water activities, a swimming pool, Thai massage, and quite a good variety of buffet choices.

It’s more of a place to slow down and enjoy the scenery rather than convenience, as it’s located quite deep inside and not close to shops or town areas.

Overall, more for the atmosphere and experience than the room itself 🌿

Beautiful resort right by the river, with a train running through the middle of it.
The price doesn't include the raft trip, which costs 250 baht per person for 40 minutes.
Breakfast is acceptable. I recommend bringing mosquito repellent.

The room rate was quite high. The toiletries provided in the room should be of better quality than what was offered.

There are very nice gardens and lawns, and the food in the restaurant is not bad. No one in the reception area speaks English, so no one can tell how to use the hotel facilities, missed some hotel activities, the hotel massage and pool are closed. There are so many moths and mosquitoes at night, it will be a bit disturbing to eat. The location of the hotel is next to the River Kwai and the Thai-Myanmar Railway, which is very distinctive. Suitable for self-driving.

Best location in the area if you want to see Tham Krasae Viaduct. The view from my room was more than I asked for. I had direct view to the viaduct, which was lit up at night. Hotel staff was friendly, breakfast was good, only thing was that everything is written in Thai. Not a problem if you want a challenge. But the place is worth it. I was the only westerner at that time as far as I noticed which was interesting see.

Best place for vocation. They have many activities for you. If you come with children , they will enjoy with largest field. Nice view , Nice and large room with good foods.

Great views in the resort. You can see the train goes by on the old track. Room is fine. Breakfast selection is huge.

The hotel was most beautiful and Good atmosphere, staff also friendly but the rooms were so small and have a lot of ants
