Asia Lampang Hotel in Lampang City

The hotel is old, but fairly well-kept. The only toiletries provided were shower caps. Shampoo and body soap were provided. The shampoo was empty. It wasn't refilled on the second day either. There was a strong sewage smell, and the bathroom smelled terrible. It must have been terrible in the middle of summer. There was absolutely no soundproofing, so everything echoed throughout the building. The sounds of doors slamming, bang, bang, bang, the sound of chairs being dragged, the creaking noise. The sounds of neighbors' daily life, smartphone conversations, and voices were all over the room. Voices and footsteps echoed in the hallway. The echoes were terrible. The footsteps from the floor above were terrible. The bang, bang, bang footsteps overhead kept me up at night. The windows faced the parking lot, so the sound of cars was annoying. I didn't get a wink the first night, and the next day I was so sleep-deprived I was exhausted and completely out of it for sightseeing. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the night market and Ratchadaphisek Bridge. It's about a 10-minute drive from the bus terminal. It's also a 10-minute walk from Seven-Eleven. This hotel is perfect for people who aren't particularly picky. It's fine for people who can sleep anywhere, anytime. The building is very noisy. If you drop something in the hallway, the clang echoes throughout the floors below. Cleaning starts around 7am and is very noisy. There's loud bang, clang, clang, and people talking. If you close a door somewhere, the bang echoes throughout the building.

For the price of this property it is very good. Breakfast was included in the price making it very good

Good size ensuite room with fan, double bed and T.V. for 290 baht, good value. Single ensuite room with fan (no T.V.) was only 200 baht! but none were available on the night I stayed. Bathroom could have done with a proper clean, everything else was fine.
