The rooms are a bit rundown. Nothing major, but it could use a bit of love. It has a great location though, with secure and ample parking. Overall, especially at this price point, it's a great value.

The school is located in an area where you can walk to the New Year's Eve celebrations at the Clock Tower intersection. It's easy to find, close to restaurants and cafes, and Lampang horse-drawn carriages pass by.

Hotel located in town area, very convenient to most of the interesting places. Especially the clock tower, has a special event for Christmas and coming New Year. But generally the outlook of hotel is quite old.

My only two words: Run! Cheap was her only advantage. The disadvantages were: First, the air conditioner barely cooled anything; even at 16 degrees Celsius, it barely let out any cold air. The outdoor unit was as loud as a tractor; I initially thought there was construction work outside, but after checking several times, I realized it was indeed the air conditioner. I didn't dare turn it on at night—it was too noisy. Second, I found at least four cockroaches in the house—on the walls, near the mirror, in the bathroom, in the drawers—everywhere! It was terrifying. I wanted to kill them, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I spent the night in this environment. Oh, and one advantage was that there was a latch on the door, which made me feel somewhat safe.

Anyway, run!

I realized it was so terrifying that I didn't take a single picture.

The accommodation was clean, but the shower head wasn't great. The curtains were too light; they should have been blackout curtains. It was very bright in the morning.

This inexpensive accommodation is in a great location in the heart of Lampang. Although it's old, it's clean. The bed is comfortable and doesn't cause back pain. There's ample parking. It's near Kad Kong Ta Market. The staff provides good service. The room amenities are up to standard. The air conditioning is a bit slow to cool. Overall, it's okay.

This has obviously been a very grand hotel back in the day. Now it sort of needs some work. But it was still a nice place to stay. Lots of good restaurants close by, short walks. My only concern was the hardness of the mattress, which seems to be very common in Thailand. I wish they would make more comfortable mattresses.

You can pin this hotel back in your 70’s memory book as that was the last time the rooms were remodeled or updated. Love a nice hot shower? Look elsewhere as the warm water went away in the afternoon never to return. One electrical outlet in the room? Perfect, because that’s all you get. Better remove your clothes before using the bathroom as you’ll be doused with a cold shower from the leaking plumbing fixtures. As with many older Thai hotels the A/C smelled of mold but that went away after a couple of hours of rigorous blasting at its lowest temps. Get in line if you would like some hot water for your coffee or tea… in the entire hotel there’s ONE pot in the lobby and it shares an an outlet with office equipment so you have to make sure it’s connected.
Just for the sake of balance it should be mentioned that the bed was comfortable enough and if the rooms were 10% as nice as the lobby it might be worth a look-see as the public areas are comfortable and well-maintained.
