Khanom Hill Resort in Khanom

We’re travelling through Asia by motorcycle & stopped to spend one night at Khanom Hill Resort. An unfortunate motorcycle accident turned into an 8 night stay. The golden lining in this experience was the stay at Khanom Hill Resort & the wonderful staff (especially Thum). We would have rated the family-run Khanom Hill Resort highly anyway for the beautiful location, the very comfortable Thai-style poolside bungalow, the lovingly tended gardens etc. What really turned it from a potentially disastrous experience into one of the most positive and memorable (in a good way!) experiences we have had was the fabulous staff, especially Thum and her friend Oporm. They looked after us so incredibly well, going out of their way to assist with all the red tape and to make sure we were healing well. There is some magic in this place and these beautiful people. Do yourself a favour and stay here.

It was a wonderful and relaxing experience - again. We have been to Khanom Hill Resort many times and we always enjoy the personal and friendly service, the excellent food, the beautiful surroundings and the lovely bungalows.

The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive, making you feel truly welcome from the moment you arrive. The breakfast is outstanding, and the on-site restaurant offers delicious meals with great service. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.

Thum and her team were perfect hosts for our vacation!!! Always available to help/support for daytrips, markets, beaches or shuttles. We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere, the beach directly infront of the resort, bungalows with terrace and pool very close, massages

I stayed 5 nights in June - it was so good I extended to 6 nights, and would have stayed longer but had to fly out. A beautiful forest setting on a lovely stretch of swimmable beach. Very comfortable roomy individual bungalows with a balcony, that you could easily stay in all day. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner are all extremely good here. The friendly family atmosphere of Khanom Hill Resort makes you immediately welcome - all the staff are just lovely, always ready to help with anything you may need. Boat trips & Market trips are available, and even a delicious Dim Sum morning breakfast with the lovely owner Khun Thum - a real highlight. It was the most relaxing holiday I have ever had. I didn't want to leave! Thank you to Khun Thum, Ta, Tai and all the wonderful staff that made it a home away from home.

The days in Khanom at the Khanom Hill Resort was the best Time of our Thailand-Trip. The food in the restaurant was wonderful, the beach ist very nice and the rooms are so lovely. We loved the garden and the nice view about the ocean in the morning. Many thanks for the hospitality and best regards to the whole crew of Khanom Hill Resor. This hotel is exceptional and was the nicest hotel we stayed in during our recent 3 month tour of Thailand. The bungalow was lovely, super comfortable bed with nice linens and a spacious, well equipped bathroom. We were right by the pool, which was super clean and lovely to cool down in if you didn't want to go down to the beach. Our bungalow was the other side of the road to the restaurant and beach, that was no issue for us and we used both every day. What really sets this hotel and the restaurant apart is the little things, small touches like servicing the room unobtrusively whilst we were at breakfast each morning, offering to adjust the menu for us as vegetarians and helping us with a car problem, sweeping the beach etc. The staff would just be there when you needed them without you even asking or realising... 5 star service. We loved the location, the restaurant overlooking the beach, the breakfasts are phenomenal 👌, pancakes to die for. Just great 👏👏🙏

Perfect!! This was the best stay out of our 6 weeks in Thailand. We even extended our initial stay of 6 nights to 12! The resort is on a beautiful long, white, very quiet beach. Nice loungers with plenty of shade provided by the trees. Also had 2 smaller, beautiful swimming pools and a sauna. The villa we stayed is was very big, clean and well equipped. King bed. Cold AC. Plenty of hot water. Cleaned daily. Breakfast is fabulous and included. Restaurant serves delicious meals on beautiful layered decks facing the beach. Owners could not have been friendlier or more helpful in all ways!

For many years, my wife Christine and I have regularly travelled to the south of Thailand to the Khanom Hill Resort in the district of Nakhon Si Thammarat. Located just outside the town of Khanom, this gem has direct access to the sea, the Gulf of Thailand. For us, arriving there actually means ‘coming home’, because the warmth with which we are always welcomed and cared for here is overwhelming. What speaks for itself is that the regular staff has remained the same for many, many years. The flats, villas and bungalows are very well maintained and furnished with great attention to detail. All this fits perfectly into the beautifully designed resort. The restaurant, which is also a bar, is something to rave about! Whether it's breakfast, lunch, snacks or dinner, you can always sit on the terraced grounds with a view of the sea and enjoy excellently prepared Thai food and drinks. Even if you don't fancy Thai cuisine, that's not a problem. We found ourselves in an unusual situation during this holiday, in which we were very dependent on help and support and this was also given to us without restriction. We would like to thank everyone once again from the bottom of our hearts for this, because from our point of view it was exceptional. We will definitely be back! Hans and Christine

This resort is fantastic. Thum and her sister and staff are #1. They are all very accommodating. We stayed in P6 and P7 bungalows. They were spacious and clean. Restaurant had excellent food and drinks. Beach was beautiful and nice lounge chairs to relax and catch some sun. Had a couple massage which was unbelievable.
