Second time this year in this hotel. Very good place to stay except on friday and saturday nights when groups of poorly educated people don't behave the way thai people do. We know a lot of hotel owners and they all advised us not to stay at their places on weekend days.

My third stay at Baanchompoo - which literally translates to Pink House. This beautiful home stay first housed me and some friends in the family room in 2019. I’ve been back twice in two weeks and booked the Balcony Room. highly recommended if you’re heading to the market for the weekend.

Our rental car died and the owner's daughter spent half an hour talking to half a dozen different Avis operatives to make the arrangements for a switch for us. Think about how much of a pain it is to fix that situation in your own country in a language you speak . They were our saviors!

The landlady gave me a ride to the minivan station and talked for my ticket to Bangkok. She also set up a tuk tuk for me to go to the Damnoen Saduak Market.
