Pros:
1. The scenery is tranquil, reminiscent of traditional Thai canal living.
2. I appreciate the wooden room.
3. The air conditioning is sufficiently cold.
4. Can sleep well.
5. The receptionists were like family. Simple and relax.

Cons:
1. The location is far from town, making it inconvenient to access food and daily necessities. Although this is expected given the tranquil setting, I was disappointed that the on-site restaurant wasn't operating during reasonable hours (e.g., late morning, afternoon,dusk, and night).
2. The bathroom was not well-maintained, with bloodstains on the wall and stains on the floor, requiring me to wear shoes while bathing. The bathroom door handle was sticky.
3. The shower had very low water pressure.
4. The room's door was damaged, making it difficult to lock.
5. The hotel's communication was non-existent; they were unreachable via phone, WhatsApp, email, or other channels.
They hung the phone when I trying to call them and ignore WhatsApp messages.

* Will I book this place again in the future ?Yes : If I visit Samut Songkhram again for a short stay and if the price is affordable.

This place is beautiful. Trees everywhere keep it cool. There's a small pond loaded with big fish (with bumpy heads?) by the cafe, I like feeding them :)
You can walk along the canal/river.
My room was on a big deck that was right on the river, perfect for a relaxing drink.
Big high ceiling room.
Happy here :)

This place is a well hidden gem. Great, big rooms,great people,lots of free parking. Romantic indeed.
