Sleep Box Hostel Suratthani in Surat Thani City

Dirty, toilet have no paper or working bidee. Bed hard and sheets old and maybe not clean or just so old.
Stuff, well other one with sortnhair was nice and cute. Other with longer hair no smile no nothing just unhappy. Cats in separate room was lovely.
No lockers or anykind of security for your stuff. But it was 3euros for night so..

DON'T COME. We rent the only room with its own bathroom. When I arrived it was much worse than it seemed. It smelled of mold, with a hole in the wall and we got 3 cockroaches. They changed us to another room and I also saw another small cockroach. Disgusting.

⚠️ A word of advice if you’re considering staying here: Don’t! 🏃‍♀️💨
– 😠 The staff appeared unwilling to provide service, often displaying unpleasant facial expressions.
– 🥶 I inquired whether the second air conditioner in the room could be turned on (as there were two units but only one was operating, which failed to cool the room adequately). The staff curtly replied, “Just one is enough. It’ll be nice and cool later at night,” which turned out to be completely untrue.
– 🚫🧴 No towels were provided.
– 🚿❌ No soap or shampoo was available.
– 🗑️ Trash could be found scattered in common areas, such as the hallways and shared bathrooms.
– 🛏️ The bed linens were not removed promptly after previous guests checked out.

💸 I understand that the pricing aims to remain competitive, and I wasn’t expecting luxury given the cost. However, I also didn’t expect such a disappointing experience. 😞

The Woman at the reception was extremely rude and didn’t care about us at all. We booked a double room which turned out to be a double bed in a dorm which was okay for one night but she didn’t even bother showing us where it is while we were searching. Also not much space to put your things. Location was nice. Still didn’t feel welcomed there.

I booked a Private Double Room with a shared bath 1 week in advance. I arrived to the hotel around 8 pm and they told me all of the Private Double Rooms were sold out even though I had a booking. I asked how could they double book their rooms and they claimed that they advertise on many booking platforms and they don't update their availability across all platforms when a room is sold out. Their only option for me was to accept a capsule dorm room or cancel my booking.

Save yourself the headache and choose a more responsible and customer oriented property.

Employees couldnt talk in english what makes the start very difficult. The rooms are not good (no windows; very small,..) and the sleepbox is really nothing i would recommend. Bathroom and toiletts were in no good shape and in the end they kind of scammed us by not giving back our money. Really exhausting and annoying experience. If you have the choice dont go there and leave suratthani for the islands asap.

We called them and they said they had a room for us at the price posted on the Internet so we took a cab and arrived at the hotel 15 minutes later. At the hotel we were told that there is no room for us and we were offered something which is below any standard and at a higher price. We were lied to, they tried to scam us and we wasted our time and the money for the cab. Definitely, we recommend to avoid that one.
