Naraya Riverside Resort in Surat Thani City

Great value, my sense is they are still recovering from COVID 19 down turn. Rooms good, clean and functional. Lots of works going on across complex, didn't affect our stay. Thank you team and kind regards

Very nice quiet hotel by Tapee river, amazing swimming pool and very nice staff

I loved that the staff were friendly and helpful. What I didn't like was that the shower was very slippery and dangerous. The resort was nice but it looked a bit run down as though it had fallen on hard times and the wifi didn't work. The kind and friendly and helpful staff more than made up for that though and I would definitely stay again.

Naraya Resort - our home on Koh Lanta

The Naraya Resort made our stay on the island of Koh Lanta totally beautiful and also extended it quite a bit ;-) The planned 6 nights became 33!! That says it all, but now we are happy to give you a more detailed impression:

Host:
Craig and Mod have been the new owners of the Naraya Resort for almost half a year. They do it with passion, heart, humor and a big pack of authenticity. Craig welcomes each guest personally, explains the premises, gives recommendations for tours, restaurants or beaches. He knows a solution for virtually everything and is felt to be available at any time of day or night. Mod is with her charisma, her Thai flair and origin, as well as with her nature the perfect complement at Craig's side. In combination with Hub and Max they are the best team and left nothing to be desired.

Accommodation:
The accommodation is above average for the price/performance ratio. The "Bungalows" are all renovated, large, cozy and appear in their constellation very comfortably and with a good shot of "oases" flair. All bungalows have a view of the garden, which is bathed in a golden colour from 5 p.m. onwards. Simply beautiful!

Equipment:
The equipment was also above average for the price/performance ratio. A huge (Kingsizeeee) bed with comfortable mattress (for Thai conditions), a cupboard, a safe, kettle, refrigerator, TV with over 30 channels, a (for Thai conditions) well planned bath, beach towels with beach bag, an electric tennis bat against mosquitoes, etc. make the holiday-maker's heart beat faster.

Service:
The service was also excellent. If desired the rooms are cleaned, daily there are 2 water bottles (glass) for free, besides daily anti-mosquito candles are lit. Transfers from or to the pier, island tours or even the return trip to Phuket are also organized by Craig without problems and can guarantee a good course. If you feel like you want a classic English breakfast or just want to drink a good cup of coffee, you can also have breakfast at the Narraya all day long (until 5 pm). Snacks like Spring Rolls or Ice Cream are also available.

Location:
The Naraya Resort is not located at the beach, but at a "main street". What surprised us a little at the beginning, didn't bother us after a few hours. Within a comfortable 5 minutes walk you are at the Klong Khong Beach, which promises enough variety with its chilly beach bars and restaurants. The advantage of the location is the 7/11 directly opposite, the great restaurants on the main street, the direct access by scooter to the island tour and, as already mentioned, the absolutely fair price for the great package. Of course, you can still hear the street itself, but the tranquillity is not neglected in the Naraya Resort.

Conclusion:
If we drive back to Koh Lanta, then to Craig and Mod in the Narraya Resort. Everything is just right here! We wish them all the luck in the world for the future.
