The accommodation is clean and the price is okay. It is not far from restaurants and markets. It is not noisy. Breakfast is rice porridge, fried eggs, and sausage. It is delicious.

It is a hotel that uses a key card system to open and close rooms with included an electrical system similar to large hotels in the city.
It is also clean and convenient with necessary amenities. Great value for money or even cheaper than you think. Highly recommend.

The town of Khong Chiam is a real little gem at the confluence of the Mekong and Moon rivers. It has everything big cities have and more. Baan Kieng Tawan is a nice boutique hotel managed by a nice, friendly and hardworking lady who speaks good English. The hotel itself is extremely clean and very well maintained. The rooms are pleasant, the beds comfortable, the bathroom excellent, the breakfast very tasty. We visited it twice on our cycling trip along the Mekong River, on the way to and from Laos. We hope to return to the city and the hotel again.
