We’ve just returned from 10 lovely days at Hotel Villa Mahal in Kalkan. After visiting Kalkan 6 years ago and spending a day at Mahal beach club, myself, my mum & sister couldn’t wait to stay at Mahal this time around

The breakfast/lunch hotel staff absolutely made our stay and deserve a huge shout out, particularly Burhan and Hasan who were so friendly and attentive every single time we saw them, memorizing our orders and helping us with whatever we needed

I explained that we’d cancelled and apologized that this wasn’t communicated to them, they said everything was fine and they just wanted to check what had happened

We had 3 heavy cases and he carried them down to our room on arrival and up when we left with ease! We were so grateful for the help and he was absolutely lovely, always saying hello throughout our stay when we saw him

From the owner to every single staff member, it was truly unbelievable! Location is fantastic overlooking the harbour and beside an array of amazing restaurants, bars, cafes and arty shopping

Rooms are clean received fresh towels daily however the balconies are very small the sea view was outstanding being on a higher floor they are a lot of steps up to rooms so not for the less mobile but well worth the view from the room Monday nights where a band played they had everyone up dancing including the staffs from traditional dancing they were excellent met some lovely people during our stay

We will Absolutely visit this hotel again the staff are amazing making you feel so welcome especially the bar staff Reggie sending our thanks for your generosity Ozzie & Ahmed very entertaining and very hard working

The 4 of us have been to Turkyie many times but this was the the first time for me and my wife in Kalkan. Our friends were here in May and raved about it so we went in September

Pirat Hotel is everything we want and need from a hotel. This is a brilliant 3 star and far better than a medioka 4 or 5 star. Service was provided by the happiest staff we have ever experienced

People were also reserving beds and not using them after going out for the day. Neither of the above were policed by hotel staff and I did not see any signage saying it can't be done

My stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. Excellent service,spotless cleanliness,and a very friendly and helpful staff. The atmosphere is relaxing and the location is perfect

Wonderful hotel, run by amazing staff. Perfect location looking out over the bay to Kalkan without being close enough to be disturbed by any noise from the nightlife

Struggle to think of ways in which this hotel could improve - but it would be difficult for less mobile guests due to all the steps. Lift only covers two floors, not all the way down to the main pool and bar

Came back from a holiday here earlier this week. We had a smashing time - our swim up room was a good size with plenty of storage and a good shower. Very clean and the amazing view from the pool is lovely

We took a break from eating in town and discovered this hidden gem of a restaurant- what a delight. The best food yet in Kalkan, a culinary delight, and fabulous service and views. Strongly recommended.

Pool room 601 is amazing, acres of space but a little in need of some TLC. Short walk from the hotel brings you to two supermarkets, a great chocolate/waffle house and a coffee shop

A quiet location but if you feel like having more action a 5min cab can take you to Kalkan center where you can dine, shop and enjoy the bay view

The beach club is amazing and the service for food and drink is excellent. We had dinner here on our last night and wish we had done it before. Food was excellent and service was great

Hotel close to the sea in Kalkan. Big rooms, only minus is the toilet with glass doors. Good food and very nice Turkish breakfast. Good service and the staff is super nice

Me and my wife have returned back to Kalkan and staying at the Lizo hotel for the first time I think it outstanding value and the meze and bbq food was outstanding couldn’t do enough for you best meal iv had in Kalkan The Turkish breakfast what they serve daily on the roof top is out of this world well done to Ali and family 🙏

Ali, Sarah and their children could not have given us a warmer welcome. We needed somewhere for the day before heading to the airport. Spotlessly clean, pool fabulous and lunch was delicious

This is an old house that has been repainted and cleaned. It is called a hotel, but it is actually a B&B. The male owner is very nice, warm and talkative

The facilities are a bit old, so you need to bring your own towels, toothbrushes, slippers, etc

Great value for money, peaceful. Ali and his family were friendly, courteous and kind.

Compared to hotels outside Kalkan - mediocre, no Wi-Fi, the hotel is a bit far, no special view of the sea (probably the main reason for visiting). For Kalkan - overall tolerable, considering the price

Came here for a 10 days, and it simply wasn’t long enough. The hotel is nothing short of beautiful. It’s in an idyllic location, situated on a cliff with several layers with 3 pools and a cove at the bottom

Big thanks especially to the man at breakfast, and the man with curly hair at reception during the day and the young boy ar the pool bar. The staff work long hours yet always manage to keep a smile on their face

Never did I think I’d be so glad not to see sand. The water is crystal clear and the sunbeds are well spaced and there is never any hassle picking one. The pools are quiet, practically empty at most times

If you have mobility issues the steps will be an issue as there is a lot of them. But it’s nothing too challenging. And the steps down to the cove are DEFINITELY worth it

We generally dislike hotels and usually stay in villas, however we have been pleasantly surprised. We will return here in a heartbeat and we are already looking to book for next year

Management really need to think about elevating the guest experience - it would also surely make business sense to offer a proper drinks service and keep the staff off their phones, looking after guests and keeping areas clean and tidy

Absolutely beautiful and charming place! Excellent location in old town and close to the beach. The owners and staff were very friendly, kind and considerate. I will 100% be staying here the next time I'm in town

Hotel location is perfect, only a few minutes from the beach. Rooms were small but nice and clean. The gentleman at the reception was really nice and helpful

The owner was accommodating and helped us call a taxi to take us to Kaputas beach. I saw him grab a card from the driver and repeatedly explained what time we needed to be picked up

The only thing is that the window has sheer covering so I had to grab one of the towels to make sure no one can peek into the window since we are two women down on the ground floor

This hotel is blocks from the beach and right in the middle of everything so parking will be tough (but free). The hotel has its own restaurant too and their breakfast was lovely

Wonderful hotel! Everyone is very responsive and helpful, especially Nesli! The sea is crystal clear, sun loungers are everywhere, towels are provided, delicious breakfasts! The rooms in the main building are cozy, we stayed in 813 and 825 with a sea view - the view is gorgeous

Amazing atmosphere, nice breakfast, very helpful staff. The rooms are very well kept and cleaned every day. The price was a little high, but it was overall a great experience and left a wonderful impression on me.

We stayed in the ocean view suite. The bed was large enough for two adults and one child. The hotel's strengths include beautiful public areas with a dedicated wading pool for children

The resort is huge! We stayed in the main building, which is close to the reception and restaurants. The scenery was absolutely stunning, breathtakingly beautiful, every view was photogenic

Don’t underestimate this guy, the knowledge and advice he shares is so valuable and he is so generous. The pool is always clean and great for people who like length swimming. Sun beds are plentiful and so comfy

All staffs are lovely, they work hard and really make your holiday special. I can’t image staying anywhere else, location is just outside the old town and it’s only a short walk to the edge of the old town

The location is great as it’s in close proximity to bars, restaurants and shops. The weekly market is a 5 minute walk up the road which is a great place to get pancakes and fresh orange

We spent two weeks in September 2025 and although we are seasoned ‘Kalkaners’ we had not stayed at Dreams before but will definitely do so again. We felt as if we arrived as guests and left as friends !

The breakfast was first class and served in the friendliest of atmospheres , everyone chatted and shared stories and advice. Ergun provided the morning entertainment with his wit and sense of humour

Run by a family that are truly welcoming and made our stay in Kalkan memorable. Exceptional value for money, rooms spacious and spotlessly clean. Fresh towels and bedding almost every day. Relaxing and pretty pool area

Location is quite far from the city center so you must get a cab or travel with your own car to go to public beach / city center. Breakfast was nice however breakfast time was too late for us, starting around 8:30am

We got a 75m2 room and the view is amazing. People working are very friendly and it is like you are part of the family. Street is cousy and there are markets and restaurants in front of the hotel

The pool is a plus, and the owner is also a very kind person: he found a way to help me with a flat tyre, calling the renting company and finding a place that fixed it

We had a fantastic stay, it was just what we were after. We stayed in ‘Artemis’, one of the villas. It was private, spacious, and with fabulous views. The staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough for us

Great location, very quite peaceful and rekaxing.

We were 2 sisters in our 70s and found the location and everything about the hotel was perfect for us, we would definitely stay here again

Our pool house with large private pool was perfect for us with plenty of space and seating around providing sunshine and shade as needed and with glorious views out to sea and surrounded by glorious flowering oleander, bougainvillea and olive trees

Javad works tirelessly to make sure everything is just perfect and always has a happy smile in his face. He really does make a huge amount of effort. The view for Breakfast / Lunch and dinner is the best you can get

The restaurant for an evening meal is delightful. The location is perfect to go to restaurants in the old town or in the opposite direction which was more quiet which we preferred

Spotlessly clean hotel and rooms, amazing huge fresh breakfast, the staff cannot do enough for you and are so friendly, the views are unbelievable, we were lucky to have a private pool room which was unbelievable and a super clean pool

I don’t really know what else I could say I’ve never felt so at ease and relaxed on holiday as I always find something to stress about but there was nothing here, the air con was cold and so was the fridge everything was just spot on

The staff are first class and are always keen to serve and help each and every guest. The rooms are simply furnished but are extremely clean. Breakfasts are held on the terrace overlooking the turquoise sea

I feel so lucky to come accross this hotel while researching hotels in Kalkan, First of all I remember booking the wrong dates and calling the hotel telling them about it, the advised me to communicate with the booking website and try yo change, if I couldn't I can come at the time of my vacation and they would help us even if the reservation dates are wrong

We have just had a 10 night stay in the Oase Apartments (apartment 3), the whole place is immaculate and kept so clean, the apartment has 2 balconys, a well equipped kitchen with washing machine, large bedroom and lounge area with lots of storage space, the pool area is lovely and so peaceful with plenty of sunbeds with umbrellas, there is also a roof terrace, the location is great, a short walk into...

We chose Enda hotel for our 10 night stay in Kalkan. It's conveniently located for the centre of town but just slightly outside so it's much quieter

There are no cars no motorcycles and the place is just what you need as an escape from crazy Istanbul. I wish I could stay here more. The owners are an amzing family apparently so it is a well maintained family business

Our room was superb, spacius and clean, it had an AC and a tv but no fridge, only rooms with sea view have fridges. It is so calm and relaxing the first day we slept from 7 p. m till the next day in the morning

This means you're not in all the hustle and bustle so get a great night's sleep. The pool is great, the breakfast amazing, the bed fabulous and the owners are fantastic hosts

Lunchtime food is good generally, although the pizzas aren't nearly as good as you can get in town from places that make them fresh, but there is a large selection that will cater for most tastes

We stayed at the Samira for 5 nights this month (June2025) I can't fault the Samira in anyway. Rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean as were the grounds and pool area

We have been to the Samira about 8 times now. Cleaning of our rooms could have been better this time. They have always been good in the past. We were told that was down to staff shortages. Otherwise a very nice Holliday

Spent most of our days just chilling by the pool and it was perfect. The staff were honestly the best part – so friendly, helpful, and always smiling. They made us feel really welcome, like we were part of the family

Büşra Hanım made delicious coffee to me and my sister. We were very thankful to spend our holiday True Blue. I recommend this place to people who wants to spend very quality time with quality people and service

The room was excellent and very clean. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the homemade jams were especially delicious. The service was attentive and warm.

The breakfast was outstanding. We were traveling with our baby and the staff could not have been more helpful (there are no lifts so maybe consider that if traveling with a LO)

There's a wonderful restaurant for dinner next door (in the adjacent building) with average prices. The historic Kalkan is a long walk away (it's a 5-minute drive)

Amazing location for a stay in Kalkan. The pool area has such a magical vibe, especially in the evenings. The spa was absolutely stunning. I had a hammam massage there and it was next-level relaxing

Childrens 2 x portions of chicken nuggets came out 10 mins after the other mains were served and the insides were RAW chicken. Luckily our kids always cut them open and double check

The staff were very helpful and changed them right away for chicken kebabs which were excellent. We also got complimentary deserts from the staff. Pizza oven, bar and swimming pool looked unreal!

The only thing that saved the meal was the caprese salad and the generous pour of wine. Food was served quickly and server was nice

We had a great time at Kleo Cottages. Communication with Mubarra is easy and she is extremely helpful. The cottages are all very clean and spacious (we were in a large group so booked 3)

The rest were also really clean, I'm not complaining about the showers but we just had an experience of air bubble being stuck in villa 1, once. They have dishwashers, washers,. We took the washing tablets with us

They have 3 small private pools and one big pool in the centre. Murat got us fresh groceries every morning that we needed. Also, there are so many fresh fruit trees. We didn't have to buy fruit for a single time

There are fruit trees growing all around - apples, figs, grapes, peaches etc. There's small private pools in most villas and an amazing large communal pool too. All in all a brilliant place to stay

I can't say enough about this place. I had such an amazing holiday at this Place. The owner and Murat both were so helpful and always there to solve your problems. We booked all of their cottages

Everything works which is rare in holiday villas in my experience. The one small issue we did have with the showers was fixed almost immediately by Mubarra and team

The pool was lovely and also very clean. Debbie who owns the Café onsite was also very helpful. Breakfast was amazing and she even made us some delicious wraps for our journey home

Fifth stay at this quaint friendly apartment hotel. If you are looking for somewhere to relax with a beautiful pool and a friendly bar - I recommend Pasha

Simon and Pauline are so welcoming and when you stay you are part of the Pasha family. Debbie is always on hand during for day for breakfasts lunches and homemade puddings

A great location - nearest bars and restaurants just a couple of minutes walk away, two supermarkets on the doorstep and a nice 10-15 minute stroll to the centre of the resort

I also have to mention the amazing cleaner who cleaned our apartment every morning, she was a blessing! Thank you all you lovely lot for making our first (not last) trip to kalkan so special we definitely look forward to seeing you all again in the near future

Simon is on site at some stage each day always passing on useful bits of info! The Papatya Cafe, run by the lovely Debbie, has residence at The Pasha from 10 til 5 which is another massive selling point for us as the food’s great!
