Taytanli Motel in Cesme

We were in Izmir when we decided to get a room in Çeşme and I booked this hotel trough Trip.com. It had best ratings and it came up 1st of the list. We didn’t think twice cos we are not keen in staying in hotels for our holiday as we like to travel around. So we didn’t expect anything wow for a 3 stars hotel. But to be honest we found the place charming, a cute family owned small hotel with a cosy veranda for breakfast, served every morning by polite staff. You don’t order anything but eggs, the rest comes fresh from the kitchen: olives, cheeses, watermelon, nuts, honey, tomato and cucumbers and other stuff as meze style. Rooms are small but cosy and clean with a side balcony facing the garden. That’s all we needed. The owner is a gentle person fluently in English and very helpful. We had a problem with hairdryer and a new one came in a minute. Location for us is the best part and that’s why we chose it. Literally 5 minutes walk from the beach, a nice side walk between villas and the cristal water shore. 5 minutes from the marina and all the bars, restaurants and beach clubs. You can just step out from the hall and stop a minibus (dolmush) with your hand. Can go to Alaçati or Cesme in 10 minutes for only 1 euro. If you not too fussy and want to spend few days in a good, clean, cosy and friendly environment we highly recommend to try Mon Ilica Otel.

we stayed at the Mon Ilica for 5 days, it was a very pleasant experience (: the staff helped us a lot, told us how to get to the nearest cities, the bus schedule, which restaurants to visit and where to change money. the breakfast was very nice, beautiful seating area, they even arranged an early breakfast for us on our leaving day. the hotel looks amazing and cozy, the garden is beautiful, the sea is just 10 minutes away. thank you very much to all the staff for our lovely time in Ilica ❤️

We stayed at Mon Ilıca Otel for just one night, but I’m already dreaming of coming back!

The location is perfect: a peaceful little gem just a short 10-minute walk from the stunning Ilıca beach. The hotel is charmingly decorated with beautiful details, cozy corners, and a lush garden filled with vibrant bougainvillea and tropical plants. Every space, from the airy rooms to the relaxing outdoor terrace, feels like a piece of art.

Breakfast was absolutely delightful: fresh, colorful, and served with genuine care. From the variety of cheeses, olives, fruits, and pastries to the perfectly cooked omelet and hot tea, everything was delicious. The atmosphere of the breakfast area under the trees, with the blue-checkered tables and peaceful garden views, made it even more special.

The service deserves a special mention: warm, thoughtful, and truly attentive. It felt like visiting a friend’s lovely home rather than staying in a hotel.

If you’re looking for a place with heart, charm, and comfort near Ilıca beach, I can’t recommend this place enough. I only wish we had stayed longer!

Stunning hotel in Cesme. Very close to the main beach + - 500m walk. Awesome Turkish breakfast served every morning. Staff very friendly. Rooms get cleaned daily. Conveniently located close to a kiosk and some great restaurants. Rooms were really great. Would definitely recommend staying here.
