Sunset Village in Didim

We stayed at sunset village as a family of four in august 2025. The rooms were clean and spacious. Main isaue was the outdated bathroom especially The shower cubicle, it was falling apart very difficult to open and close. We also had a problem with the toilet water running nonstop along with a funny noise when we reported this the staff had it sorted very quickly. One other room for improvement would be that they only have one air conditioner in the master bedroom so the kids were complaining that it was too hot when they were trying to sleep.

The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. I would say it was good value for money. We would return and recommend.

Lovely hotel very clean staff very nice and helpful the best in turkey. Don’t get ripped off with package book this and explore the area they have pinocios bar with minions etc and the senorita boat 15£ a person with dinner sunset the English breakfast is just like at home

We stayed here as a family of 4 adults in a delux ground floor apartment. The apartment was well equipped and spacious. I raised queries prior to arriving and all were answered. The staff were very welcoming. My father was taken I'll and spent one night in hospital (after 2 days of almost bed bound). The staff were all helpful in relation to this and the lovely evening receptionist even helped us order pizza takeaway to have on the balcony late one evening when we had to keep an eye on him in bed. Full kitchen which is actually really hard to get in Altınkum/ Didim. This place is in a good location. We used the dolmuş lots, but can walk to seafront and dolphin square in about 20 mins (the walk back up the hill is more). Local market for bread and drinks by Laur Hotel / Didim Beach which is less than a 5 min walk. Big migros opposite Esra was a 7 min walk away. We had an issue with flies in our room after an earthquake but as soon as it was reported it was sorted. The apartment is simple but for the price we paid, we couldn't complain. Pool big enough for the size of the apartment. Lots of sunbeds and even during bayram it didn't feel too busy. We didn't eat at the bar but had drinks and ice-cream and all looked reasonable. Only recommendation would be to have a full priced menu and opening times of the bar. We were unsure what time food could be ordered up to. We wanted a chilled out holiday with a pool (usually stay on the beach and pay to use pools) and this is exactly what we got. We are already looking to book for next year.

Nice spacious rooms,clean, light and airy. Nothing fancy but very homely. Kitchen with cooker and fridge, bathroom with shower and washing machine.

Property well maintained and comfortable.

What a trip , what a lovely little place this is . I have never wrote a review before but felt I had to for this place, honestly an amazing stay small friendly and sooo welcoming . Basic apartments with everything you need and the people who run this place are just lovely. Nothing was to much to ask of them . The food was amazing and so cheap compared to outside places. Apartments cleaned on request and sheets and towels changed . The pool man worked so hard and kept the whole pool and grounds spotless. We all had best time and can’t wait to come back already see you in 2025 .. sunset you was amazing

Apart gayet temiz ve sakindi. Cok rahat ettik . Ama biraz daha ilgi gosterebilirlerdi. 1 saat erken vardik en azindan bir cay ikram edebilirlerdi. Genel olarak huzurlu ve rahat bir ortam tavsiye ederim

I loved my time there a year and a half ago. The owners were kind and very hospitible helping me with my Turkish, and I have recommended this place to others.

Lovely place to stay, the rooms were cleaned when requested, no mad rush for sunbeds as the majority of guests were Turkish so didn't have a single day when we couldn't get one!. Snack bar was good value, especially the Turkish breakfast, and the pool was cleaned daily also. Easily within walking distance to the supermarkets and nightlife. We had a deluxe apartment which had a washing machine in which was very handy, (not sure about the standard rooms though) Owners were nice and friendly too. All in all it was a pleasant stay and we would return if were to go to Altinkum again.

Well second time here, it’s a family run place, family are so lovely and friendly, highly recommend the food is good for a snack bar, rooms are lovely and clean pool area is perfect, only small but it’s lovely place to chill and relax, close to shopping and bars
