Sahra Su Holiday Village & Spa in Oludeniz

I stayed for 4 nights in October half term with my teenage son. Overall a nice place to stay - you do need to get taxis anywhere outside of the hotel but lots to do all within 20 minutes drive. We did the cable cars which I highly recommend. We also took a water taxi from Fethiye harbour to Calis for a stroll around the shops. And we also visited Fethiye market on Tuesday - a teenage dream for shopping! The hotel itself is nice, agree with other comments that it is a bit shabby in places - the photos are a true example of instagram vs reality! Having said that, there was nothing awful to report - it’s just not spotless and the hotel generally needs updating and some maintenance in areas. Food - not great I’m afraid. I didn’t eat anything that I really enjoyed and neither myself or my son are fussy in any way. Lots of Turkish food which is great but it was luke warm and nothing was great, very repetitive. We ate out and had some lovely meals (eg Buzz Bar in Oludeniz). Had better food at similar rated hotels elsewhere. Would have given 4 stars if food was better. Pools were cold but that was expected for time of year, can imagine they’re great in the summer. Also got cold in the evenings - as expected, just be prepared. We had a swim up pool which was nice - not sure if I would book again or just enjoy people watching and more atmosphere around the main pool. Nice if you want peace and quiet and privacy. Overall it’s a nice hotel if you want peace and quiet or if you’re happy to pay for taxis to explore the local area. Staff are friendly and helpful. Fridge filled with water every day, rooms cleaned (could be to a better standard). I would say it’s definitely a 3* hotel and if you don’t expect too much, you shouldn’t be disappointed.
