ND Suite in Edirne

Clean hotel, in terms of the rooms recently renovated, but dirty with washable paint on the floor. Too bad.
Large room (we were 3 adults and a child) stayed in the Deluxe Family room, similar I think to the Deluxe Quadruple if I go by the pictures on booking.com.
Parking next to the hotel (sharp stone), spacious.
Clean room, clean bedding and the bathroom except for the small shower, acceptable.
Overall good value for money for a 3 star hotel.

Poor breakfast, like for 2-3 star Turkish and Greek: 4 kinds of olives, 4 kinds of jam, 3 kinds of mozzarella, a salami, boiled egg and a spiced version, mini donuts, sausage with sauce, cheap juice in a box, cherry tomatoes, butter and honey capsules. A few soft apples and oranges, passed. Tea in the first few days only Turkish, instant coffee, then came coffee beans and hot chocolate. Too late.

The kitchen is open and sometimes all the smell comes out in the restaurant. When you want something freshly prepared, but for a fee.
Nothing for children.
Like a transit breakfast.

Although the reception staff is efficient, cleaning team cannot cover the huge deficiency of the renovation team - everywhere there are stains of washable paint (obviously they cannot be simply removed), the windows are dirty with paint and dust, the walls of the elevator are rarely wiped and then with substances that leave ugly marks on the stainless steel walls.

The glass walls of the shower are not washed, the floor insulation is non-existent, so the water leaks towards the door (I put two towels so as not to flood the room); in these conditions the door frame is destroyed by the moisture.
Another major minus point. Although I tried to make the reservation on the hotel website, I was not allowed to pay because they had problems with the server. After online discussions I received the agreement to pay upon arrival.
Surprise. At the reception I paid 100 euros more.
Reasonable walking distance from Margi Outlet. Very long distance from
Erasta Mall. Even longer distance from the center/ Bazaar (it is easy to get there by car/taxi, many parking lots with 100 TL per hour); many taverns with diverse, good and cheap food.
Small shops around and a large MMM Migros opposite.
Result: we only return if we are in transit. And if they respect the cost of the reservation. Or maybe not. Other small hotels with much greater attention to travelers.
