Edirne osmanlı Evleri in Edirne

This is a new hotel, mixed with bad and good.
Pros:
very friendly people. nice rooms/breakfast place/museum especially if you like history or has a Jewish heritage.

Cons:
1. hard for local taxi drivers to reach. They do not know the road, even the road names are provided, and many of them do not use googlemap to guide. This is a big problem for the city, because fairly speaking, the hotel is very easy to find if you drive with google map, and it is located in a very central location. The hotel can do nothing with the taximen, but at least the hotel should have make good relationship with the old local taxi men who sit in the corner of the street who spent their whole life there. They just drink tea in the street while waiting for customers. They drive the shortest way, and charge based on the meter. They do not spend your time and your money to drive around the whole town and stop by shops to ask for translations and directions etc.
2. The hotel charges euro - not lira. So when they charged 90 Euros from my bank card, I was in fact charged 90 British pounds. This weird outcome did not happen when I used the same card in multiple places at Istanbul, which means it was charged from the hotel or their bank, instead of my bank.
3. No soundproof in the room.
4. When taxi does not work, the hotel should be able to advise on bus, unfortunately, it's not their methods of transport.

Friendly crew and lovely atmosphere. Perfect choice for a quality stay in a cozy place.
