Having arrived in the early hours, the hotel did not look like anything from the pictures. 1st night hardly any sleep as the bed had been broken and with language barrier's and use it Google translate and a day later the bed was changed but was smaller than what was originally in there and gave up as it was clear communication was going to be a problem. Significant health issues with exposed electrical wires around the property. It was clear during the day the promotional pictures had been taken some years ago and now the hotel was looking in need of some TLC. Food was lovely, but choice of alcohol was limited to wine, gin, vodka or beer so very limited. The claimed zoo, this was a disgrace and the conditions the animals were living in by Uk standards were shocking and the smell I felt bad for people staying close by. The gym was not usable, all running machines did not work, the cable weight machines all had most the pins missing. The pool tables had most the balls missing. Evening entertainment we could not understand what was going on as very little was communicated in English. I wouldn't say this was more than a 2* hotel, whilst there were a lot on offer it was evident that too much was being offered which compromised quality where upkeep wasn't being maintained. The staff I have huge respect for, very long hours, always polite and smiling.

The hotel is nothing like any of the pictures they have used, there are so many steps. We came as a family and our rooms was so far away from each other with no option of changing, I was worried about my teenagers. The beds were like sleeping on a hard brick bed, not able to move each morning. The food was horrible, myself, parter and young son had really bad sickness and diarrhoea for days, my son is still not right. ( food poisoning ) I would not recommend this hotel at all even on a budget !!!! Best part of our holiday was getting out of the hotel to a local town.

I have just arrived at the hotel! I am shocked by the rooms. The electrics are so unsafe it’s untrue! We have a plug socket badly smashed up and have twin four year olds that can reach and touch them! The put my 21 year old daughter a whole block away (even though we are on the same booking)! She is also on the fifth floor with a nine month old baby. We requested a room move but were told we couldn’t be accommodated. The rooms in the pictures are far from the rooms we are staying in! The snack bar is just a few trays on the side and as long as you are brave enough to get the food from the hornets then you might enjoy it! I have never written a review before let alone complained about a place so for me to take to the reviews page says something. I have only been here 3 hours and my initial thought was could I afford to book somewhere else on my credit card to get us somewhere together and safe! They gave my daughter a cot that was stained and dirty for her baby. So far I am seriously disappointed and will definitely not be booking with on the beach or staying here again!

As a family of four looking forward to a week summer holiday, we were immediately disappointed on arrival. My children referred to the room as a hostel as opposed to a hotel, it was very very rundown and dated. The button was missing on the flush, our sink fell out in the bathroom on the second day and bulbs also needed to be changed to stop the disco effect that we had going on. An extra bed had been squeezed into it was already a very small room making it very cramped, we didn’t have enough bedding or pillows which I dealt with on the second day as we were far too tired with arriving at 3 am local time. There were only two bottles of water on arrival yeah I was given more when I approached reception. There were two pools, one of which had a waterslide, albeit you had to put your own water down the slide as it wasn’t very freeflowing and the other a smaller infinity pool which had a very strong smell of drains. Entertainment was limited on an evening with bingo two nights of karaoke, miss hotel and guess the flags. The hotel was predominantly Turkish and Polish which I’m fine with however the translation into English and other languages was very limited making it very difficult to understand what was going on and what was being said. The daytime entertainment was darts water polo and water aerobics which we only participated playing darts. The all inclusive food was okay we didn’t bother with breakfast, occasionally we had lunch which started at noon and then the pool snap bar opened at 3 pm followed by evening meal at seven. The plastic cups around the pool were regularly dirty to the point. You could see things in the bottom. previous drink colours for example the flavoured syrups and generally bits floating in drinks. If you want a very basic budget hotel and in my opinion still with an expensive price then this is the hotel for you. We made the most of our holiday, however, will not be which is a great shame as we have stayed at other hotels in Turkey and revisited several times.

Golden ages of this property are far behind! At least food is good. Rooms, position, beach - disaster. Hotel is on the top of hill and it is very hard to climb to the entrance. Furniture is old and shabby.Even when room is cleaned it is hard to say you can see it. Sun beds were broken and very dirty, Everything has a moldy smell. One night from the shower in the room brown mudy water starts flowing! We paid AI service and spend half of that amount going on other beaches around, paying transportation, sun-beds drink and food.

We were a party of 6 adults. On arrival in the early hours they had to book 3 rooms in, 1 at a time. It took ages. Then they took 2 lots off to their room and then 2 youngsters to a room that absolutely stunk. Luckily i checked they were ok. Had to spend another half an hour sorting them a different room. We were asked if we were hungry but by this time we just wanted to go to bed so I don't know what food might have been offered. They were given a disabled room and one of the 3 beds in there had dirt and what looks like cat hairs in it. They also had no hot water which they reported after breakfast and there were flies in the sink. After 2 nights in the disabled room and having to deal with an inch of water on the bathroom floor because the seal on the shower was broken, having no hot water, the shower falling apart and a broken toilet they were moved to another room where they spent the rest of the holiday with no problems. Our air con was broken and we could feel the springs though the mattress and every time you move the springs twanged which I reported in the morning. The air con was eventually sorted by 2pm. The safes in 2 rooms were locked shut and had to send someone out to fix them in 2110 and 2112. Mattresses were replaced in the afternoon and were really good. On arrival 2 tiny bottles of water not even in the fridge. No mini bar just empty fridge and given 2 small bottles of water every day. In the restaurant there was a very small choice of hot food and they were very stingy with the food cooked in front of you on the grill like chicken or omelettes. The choice of drinks was very limited. I dont drink alcohol but I think there was only one kind of beer and no proper fruit juice. There were dirty plates every night. I started handing them to the staff but there were so many I gave up and just moved them to one side. There wasn't a kettle in the room even though the brochure in the room said there was. No parasols on most of the sunbeds you could sit at the back in the shade though. I asked about late checkout and they said hotel was full so no late checkout on any of our 3 rooms, then when we got to reception to check out they said there'd been a cancellation so we could have any one of the 3, but by then we were all packed up. No courtesy room just cold outside pool showers and a cubicle at the turkish bath to change. No lock on luggage room and door not visible from reception so anyone could go in. For some reason when we went to collect our cases for return transfer, the luggage room was now locked. No air con on in any part of the hotel except your room. There are air-conditioning units but they're not switched on. So waiting for your bus to the airport is very hot. A few of the staff speak a little English but mostly had to use Google translate. Some of the staff ask to have their photo taken with you and then ask for a tip. The only member of staff I could not complain about was the lady that cleaned our room. She worked s

I would recommend this hotel if your looking for somewhere secluded and are not explorers. If you want to go anywhere you will need a taxi, which are easy and cheap to get. There is a free bus ride to there private beach ⛱️ which takes about 5 mins. There are sun loungers there a free bar and food. It isn't a sandy beach but there is a pier you can jump off or steps that lead to the sea to swim. The hotel itself is pleasant enough, the rooms are a little bit dated but the beds were comfortable. The food was ok, plenty of salads 🥗 to choose from and every night was something different cooked outside on the grills. Don't expect a British fry up in the morning, but the staff and manager was very friendly. There is still variety to choose from but mainly Turkish food. The drinks wasn't brilliant to be honest, only 1 beer to choose from which is Efes beer and limited to which bars you can use depending on time of day. The animation team were brilliant, very friendly especially Pasha. There were competitions through the day like Darts, water polo, Table Tennis 🏓, Pool 🎱, and in the evening was a kids party to begin with then different events like Kareoke, Bingo, Dance Show, Quiz Show etc. There is a nightclub you can go to with the animation team every night as well. Places to visit we would recommend is Gumusluk fishing village which is only 10 mins away by taxi and is 1 of the most beautiful places I've seen, apparently 1 of the 10 best places in the world to see the sunset. Aquapark in Bodrum is great, about 45min taxi journey. Market in Bodrum is good if your looking for a bargain, but be warned you will get bombarded with them trying to sell you stuff. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Golden age crystal Hotel in gumusluk, and you won't be disappointed with the scenery it's beautiful. It was very hot 🔥 over 35 everyday but we prefer that, different months it's cooler if preferred. If your not to fussy about english food and drink and exploring by foot then this is worth the visit, and we'll worth it for value for money. Spooner Family.

Unfortunately I will define this as a place where I do not plan to come in the future. Weak cuisine and service in the restaurant, although the poor waiters are not to blame for the fact that they saw me off late in the evening after dinner and met me early in the morning for breakfast. The only special thanks to the animation team Asli who helped us arrange a tour to the Aqua park, Rosie, Melek, Pasha for the fun atmosphere , and barmen Utku a good boy always with a smile.

My second stay in this hotel with same experience. I have read many different reviews about this place many of them bad, and that is why I am writing this review. People expect luxury service for little money. That simply doesn’t exist. Maybe some of the rooms need improvement maybe some rooms haven’t good position, maybe young inexperienced staff need better English but in general THERE IS NO BETTER OPTION IN THIS REGION FOR THIS MONEY Kitchen perfect excellent choice variety of everything meat fish sweets Location top best view ever one of 10 spots on National Geographic for best sunset view Staff always keen to help rooms cleaning on daily basis with change of linen and towels water supply on daily basis Free shuttle to the beach however 10-15 minutes walk is not bad for physical exercise Beach bar ok with pastries hamburgers Pommes salads Two pools not bad not extraordinary but ok pool bar same as beach bar and work till midnight Every evening kids program and then some other amusement program. Probably there are many better hotels around but not for that money. Last year in Yasmin resort nearby I spent double money with far less satisfaction
