The beach and pool area were simply stunning. Crystal-clear water, sun loungers at the ready, and an atmosphere that strikes the perfect balance between lively and relaxed. We spent most of our days here and never once wanted to be anywhere else.
Breakfast deserves a special mention — it was an absolute highlight. Fresh, generous, and lovingly put together every morning. The authentic traditional Turkish tea served at the table was a true delight, and the simit — that gorgeous sesame-crusted bread — became my personal favourite way to start the day.

What truly elevates Lugga above other hotels is the people. This is a family-run hotel, and you feel it in every interaction. The warmth here isn’t rehearsed — it’s genuine. The hand-made Turkish coffee offered at reception was an unexpectedly lovely touch, the kind of small gesture that stays with you long after you’ve checked out.

Staying at this boutique hotel was an absolute delight. The owner truly goes above and beyond, regularly checking in with staff and ensuring that everything runs smoothly, making it clear that quality and honest service are top priorities here.

We visited toward the end of the Bodrum travel season, when it’s quieter and cooler, but that didn’t affect the level of care and attention we received. Despite the chill in the air, the hotel made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible by keeping their meticulously maintained heated pool open for us, and they even set up beach lounge chairs so guests could still enjoy the stunning surroundings.

The view from the property is simply breathtaking—intimate and serene. The service was outstanding, with the staff doing their best to communicate in English, which made us feel very welcome and at ease. I was traveling with two friends, and we were all thoroughly impressed by the warm hospitality.

I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a memorable, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming stay.

What I like Lugga Boutique Hotel is its location, the large duplex hotel room and its services. Three of us were there staying over for three nights and the hotel staffs were super attentive and catered to our every needs. Their breakfast staffs are very helpful, happy, greeted us every morning with genuine helps. Their owner will check every morning to ensure the hotel services are up to standard and also they support females working there! Amazing!

The Good: Fantastic beach in terms of water, clean though the beach beds could have been a bit newer. The rooms are particularly good, comfortable beds, and clean with central AC/Klima. Breakfast very decent, more choices would have been welcomed. The Bad: Good luck communicating in English, they should not advertise that! Spelling mistakes on English signs is embarrassing (see photo). Do not advertise breakfast starting at 7:30 because you disappoint people, go a bit after 8:00 when their set up is complete and the bread has arrived. The bathroom is missing the toilet brush in case needed. Another deception is the purchase of coffee, which was the worst coffee I ever had by any standards, even Nescafe is better. You should take out the menu! When a hotel is charging more than €200 then you expect these basics to be working otherwise you deceive your clients. My final evaluation would be 3 1/2 if I had the choice of stars.

Esra in the reception was very positive with a smiling face always. The people working for breakfast were also very helpful and smiling. The property was very noisy due to preparations for the season. The bath water was not hot enough esp. for the people who cares.

My partner and I stopped here on the last leg of a multi-stay break in Greece and Kos and it turned out to be a great way to end our hols! The rooms are lovely, clean and spacious, staff are very helpful and the grounds, pool and proximity to the beach and crystal-clear sea are fantastic! The on-site restaurant is a little pricier than what you come to expect in Turkey, but there’s a ***** of bars and restaurants close by for more options. It seems to be a place primarily visited by the Turkish on their holidays, so English is not widely spoken in the area. In hindsight, we would have benefitted from learning a few more Turkish phrases, but it’s definitely possible to get by without. The main city of Bodrum is about a 30 minute bus ride away (very reasonably priced at £2/3 a journey) and local taxis are about £12 (the hotel quoted £40 so we booked separately). Overall, we had a great time and would recommend it to anyone looking for a blissful break away - we visited mid-Sept, perhaps when things were a little quieter than in the height of summer.

Excellent resort -beach is right there - facilities are good - restaurant a bit expensive for Turkish standards but food was very good- breakfast is included and its pretty expansive and it is very good as well - the big pool in the middle is very nice - but most were going into the excellent blue and clear waters..Rooms were big -airco was good as well - for many though the mattress will be a bit hard, but you are in luck if you like hard ones. Pillows were ok usually hard to judge with many different tastes but generally you will like it. Next to the hotel Within literally steps there is a breakfast and lunch place and food is very good at a very reasonable cost. People of the hotel were very helpful.. Recommend this place for a very relaxable and cool environment.
